Found an interesting option:

UA:$269 FLL-POS 6582 or 8307PQM
Tue 13 Dec
UA1417 FLL-EWR 1400-1700 B738
UA1905 EWR-POS 2355-0545(+1day) B738
Wed 14 Dec
UA1459 POS-IAH 0836-1246 B738
UA1459 IAH-EWR 1420-1844 B763
UA711 EWR-FLL 2014-2316 B738

https://goo.gl/flights/m0sC

The mileage comes out different depending on whether POS-IAH-EWR gets counted as one segment or two. IME, it gets counted as two if there are two boarding passes, since these are two different aircraft types they should be. But still select two different seats, to be sure. A safer option is to also call and have it physically broken up as two segments by the agent.

It's so late in the year, that it's a bit of a risk. One option may be to put a 7-day Farelock on an additional run (a few days before POS), so you can see if it posted with the necessary miles, and cancel if you already have the necessary mileage.

Good luck!

TLV may work for Dec. 10-12; $626 PQD and 11,399 PQM. But there is an overnight stay, though.

If you have a Chinese visa, you can do BOS-HGH for $663 ($573 PQD) and almost 18,000 PQM. But there is an overnight hotel stay at Hangzhou. PVG is also a possibility.

Does the benefit as a Premier Silver justify the extra cost of MRs? You are the only one who can answer this question. Here is a related thread for your reference. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/unite...solidated.html
I think that the Economy Plus subscription may be a good alternative. Good luck.

A bit overkilll, but an option may be:

UA:$794 IAH-SIN 20325PQM
Mon 5 Dec
UA1499 IAH-ORD 0510-0754 B738
UA895 ORD-HKG 1325-1920(+1day) B772
Tue 6 Dec
UA895 HKG-SIN 2145-0140(+1day) B772
Wed 7 Dec
UA2 SIN-SFO 0945-0825 B789
UA1148 SFO-IAH 1050-1635 B789

https://goo.gl/flights/fxye

No visa requirement for transit thru HKG/SIN.

But as kmxu states, an E+ subscription may be more practical to get the E+ benefit. Plus $95 Explorer card for Group 2 boarding & 1 checked bag. Unless you're close to the MM mark, of course.

Good luck!

You mentioned you are flexible any day in March, does it mean you're looking for status in 2018 or early recognition in 2017? You also need to complete the AQD requirement, which is 50% lower for non-Canadian residents. Have you checked how much AQD you would need?

Thanks, I'll keep this trip in my back pocket. I'm trying to see if there are any other business trips that will pick up some of the PQMs/PQDs before pulling the trigger on this deal.

There may be better options when split into two trips.
I am okay with doing two trips - as well - any suggestions!

However, the price is increased to $434
