According to AA, the fare is fully refundable at any time prior to departure. No charge for changes.

Wow I didn't even realize that was possible Amazing fare

Too tempting not to book, pulled the trigger. Figure I can sleep on it at the least. Basically took your advice and booked ICN-LAX for the end of this year, and LAX-ICN summer of next year. Then booked LAX-JFK-LAX in F for Memorial Day Weekend Things like this make flyertalk special

Booked ICN-LAX v.v. instead, although the miles between LAX-JFK v.v. is great, but don't really want to fly that segment (plus it's AA).

Having flown AA F LAX-JFK I have to say it is a very nice experience for a domestic flight. Can't imagine why anyone would be disappointed.

Please keep in mind that refunds will be in KRW which subject to exchange rate fluctuation if converted back to USD. Of course, you may make a decent profit too.

Thank you for the info. How about change the date of return? The agents always say you are subject to fare difference, in addition to the change fee. Am I expecting any additional costs down the road given how great this fare is now?

Changes should be free after you have flown first segment as long as the same booking class is available for your new flights.

Can you explain the strategy behind this?

I'm getting GMP-HND-SFO-JFK-NRT-ICN on google flights. When I go through to AA it gives me this warning:

The following warning(s) occured
Please review the fare and itinerary displayed below. (8015 - 2501)

Any idea what this means? I tried more routes and still getting the same error.

Huh?
For $2,850, one gets ICN-LAX roundtrip JL First and LAX-JFK roundtrip AA First. Fully refundable and changeable.

It's not an error, just standard message. Just click Passenger Details at bottom of the page and continue to booking page.

I'm seeing the same fare to YYZ as well. GF shows at 5.5M won and drops to 3.5M on the AA website.

Yes, I'm looking at the ICN-YYZ right now, also seeing 3,500,000 for F and
1,900,000 for business.

One question - I am offered the NRT-DFW flights on a 789. When I look at
Seat Guru, that appears to have only business ( although called First).
But both business and first fares are offered. What is the deal on AA?

Is true first only offered on the 777ER?

And to YYZ it seems that there are no discounted F options on JL, only
full F. Is it worth booking first then changing after?
