It shows $3200+ on GF, but after clicking through to the AA South Korean website, it prices to around $2800 when converting from KRW

I've been rejected trying to purchase on the CAN website with a US billing address so good to know we can do it on the South Korean site

What would happen if flown the outbound and cancel the return? Can't really tell from the penalties and fare rule...

With AA, who knows. There is a risk of repricing to a one way so not sure I would try it. If you only want one, do a disposable Y for your return. But the fare appears to be fully refundable and changeable with no penalty. And 24 hours cancellation.

I just bought my first ICN-NRT-LAX-JFK-LAX-NRT-ICN on the Korean site for 3,300,000 KWN which converts to $2,849. OMG! Working on the 2nd.

You would only get about $700 back, that is the delta between this fare and the lowest cost 1 way F fare.

I'd recommend grabbing GMP-HND instead… much better airports than ICN and NRT.

Unfortunately, JL only flies to NRT-LAX.
And my inbound connecting flight is arriving ICN on one of my trips.

Yup, SEA too. But to me the gem is to embed LAX-JFK-LAX into a SEL-NYC fare. The JL F segments are pretty much thrown in for free if you look at the standard LAX-JFK fare.

Agree. This fare is insane. Although my receipt did scared the crap out of me. Hopefully AA just didn't have a KRW symbol.

I looked at the HND-SFO JL flight and was able to price that, departing from GMP, with SFO-JFK in F as well. That is a nice combo as a poster said to avoid ICN and NRT.

Yup, I picked up GMP-HND-SFO with a nested separate SFO-JFK round-trip. (SFO based, so it's perfect for me. I'll probably drop the last HND-GMP and terminate in Tokyo)

Can someone clarify if there are any refund / cancellation charges prior to departure associated with this fare? Don't think the previous posts got to the bottom of this?
