[PREM FARE GONE] JL/AA: SEL-NYC r/t in F as low as $2,800
Price as shown on AA Korean website. I don't have any experience booking ex-ICN, but from what I've read you may be asked to pay using a Korean cc.
Available on JL metal on TPAC segment and books in full F/J, so it earns 3x EQM's. Routing via DFW earns more miles although it will be on AA metal.

Wow, just wow... crazy deal for JL F.
and it has a kids fare associated with it, I pulled up US$2100 for RT in F on JL for 2-11 yr old. no min stay and seemingly 1 year validity, so lots of ability to nest with some award tix. I cannot see beyond basic fare rules, such as whether stopovers are allowed. Also would be interesting to see if you can do OJ on the return (say to a destination in Japan instead of returning to ICN)...

The fare rules require "ANY AA FLIGHT OPERATED BY AA ANY AA FLIGHT OPERATED BY JL." So you will have AA flight numbers. And it's an F fare, booking into F (or J where no F cabin) so you will get 3x.

I take it since it since it has an AA flight number than EQDs will be awarded based on cost of the ticket versus the miles flown x a percentage of the distance flown? Any workaround for that? The EQD is a challenge for me next year, not the EQM. Thanks for tips!

It appears to be free to cancel and free changes to anything once first segment is flown. No exception to HIP check though, so no ability to do 24+ hour stopovers on this fare (it will climb to $10k). But you can totally shift the return around, even leave it open. It's been a while since I have had such an unrestricted fare, especially in the F bucket, you can pretty much pick up and use the return any day you want.

You can fly in Premium Economy on either CX or JL to Asia. MQD earns <20% of distance flown. The 1.5 EQM's is an added bonus.

I'm not seeing the 2,800 but 3,274 with or without stopover. Still good.
I've seen some great F fares ex-CAN to Korea, but this blows them away. You have to be willing/need for 2 r/t but this makes a compelling argument
