For each request, please include the following information:
Departure Airport:
Miles Needed:
Required Spend or Budget:
Available Travel Dates:
Required Metal or Codeshares okay*:
For each response. Please quote the original request. DO NOT START A SEPARATE THREAD.
----
NOTE: there is not much time left in 2017, given that travel tends to be expensive around holidays. You will have greater chances of success if you have greater flexibility on travel dates and cost. If you need a lot of MQMs on weekends only for < 5 cpm it probably won't happen.
Other creative possibilities depending how many MQMs you need:
----
*"Required Metal or Codeshares" is, approximately, asking whether you need a flight operated specifically by Delta or if partner flights are ok. If you are just looking for MQMs to hit a Medallion tier the normal way, then the answer is yes. If you are doing a status challenge, the answer is also probably yes, but read the T&C of your challenge carefully to be sure (for the regular status challenge the answer is also "yes")
NOTE: some partner flights earn MQMs at reduced rates. See this chart for more info.

Other creative possibilities depending how many MQMs you need:
- signup bonuses for various DL-branded AMEX cards (usually have a spend requirement)
- if you already have planned travel, consider buying up (in advance, not at check in) for 50% MQM bonus and more flexible same-day-confirmed options which are another way to increase MQMs
- Hilton 250 MQMs per stay of 2 nights or more
- if you are close to a threshold Delta often will offer a buy-up (at exorbitant prices). 2016 thread, and speculation/anticipation thread for 2017

e.g. Matrix shows Phuket on Jan 19 - 21 for $389, also for Chiang Mai on those dates
Looks like any SkyTeam flights that earn MQM and MQS are valid.

ATL-YVR is available from $412 ($474 main cabin) on 12/31 -- 5362 MQM's (this involves red-eye return. Also you will have to go through Canadian customs and then back through US Customs and TSA at YVR. Should have enough time, but you might get hassled for immediate turn)

12,500 MQMs
Departure Airport: any DC airport
Miles Needed: 12,500
Required Spend or Budget: strong preference for first class for longhauls, but low as possible with that consideration.
Available Travel Dates: Any time through 03/30, excluding 01/30-2/7, 3/17-3/22
Required Metal or Codeshares okay*: Yep
Had a baby this year, missed my AA status qualifications, and decided to jump ship to DL. Have a status match challenge to meet now. TIA!

Jan 23 - 24, BWI-HNL, First Class, $1607, about 15,000 miles
A second consideration:
Virgin Atlantic, Jan 20 - 21, DCA-LHR-IAD, $1200 (Premium Economy), about 11,000 miles
pick up remaining miles with a short flight somewhere e.g. Jan 23, BWI-JFK-BOS-DTW-BWI, $118 (E), $168(MC), about 2000 miles
Last edited by canuck_traveler; Dec 30, 2017 at 11:38 am Reason: add Virgin Atlantic option

MQM rollover?
logged onto delta today and am not seeing my rollover MQMs above the threshold I reached in 2017. Anyone else having the same issue? I had around 76000 earned in 2017 and am now Platinum. Will the approx 1000 or so show up soon? Anyone else having this issue?
