For each request, please include the following information:
Departure Airport:
Miles Needed:
Required Spend or Budget:
Available Travel Dates:
Required Metal or Codeshares okay*:
For each response. Please quote the original request. DO NOT START A SEPARATE THREAD.
----
NOTE: there is not much time left in 2017, given that travel tends to be expensive around holidays. You will have greater chances of success if you have greater flexibility on travel dates and cost. If you need a lot of MQMs on weekends only for < 5 cpm it probably won't happen.
Other creative possibilities depending how many MQMs you need:
----
*"Required Metal or Codeshares" is, approximately, asking whether you need a flight operated specifically by Delta or if partner flights are ok. If you are just looking for MQMs to hit a Medallion tier the normal way, then the answer is yes. If you are doing a status challenge, the answer is also probably yes, but read the T&C of your challenge carefully to be sure (for the regular status challenge the answer is also "yes")
NOTE: some partner flights earn MQMs at reduced rates. See this chart for more info.

Other creative possibilities depending how many MQMs you need:
- signup bonuses for various DL-branded AMEX cards (usually have a spend requirement)
- if you already have planned travel, consider buying up (in advance, not at check in) for 50% MQM bonus and more flexible same-day-confirmed options which are another way to increase MQMs
- Hilton 250 MQMs per stay of 2 nights or more
- if you are close to a threshold Delta often will offer a buy-up (at exorbitant prices). 2016 thread, and speculation/anticipation thread for 2017

A trip to the West Coast via JFK or ATL should do it.
$318 on December 2 BOS-JFK-SFO-JFK-BOS is about 6000 miles
$312 on December 2 BOS-JFK-SEA-JFK-BOS is about 5700 miles
$338 on December 2 BOS-JFK-SAN-JFK-BOS is about 5800 miles
$392 on December 2 BOS-SEA-ANC-SEA-JFK-BOS is about 8300 miles
Bookable on Delta. (slightly cheaper if booking in E class)

New here, but let's see what happens:
Departure Airport: DTW
Miles Needed: 23k
Required Spend or Budget: up to $1k
Available Travel Dates: Very flexible
Required Metal or Codeshares okay: no pref
Would love to have a site that allows me to search for "Where can I go for $500?"

Basically, if China is your final destination (e.g. LAX-PVG-LAX), you will need a visa. If you are transiting (e.g. LAX-PVG-SIN-PVG-LAX), then visa is not required.
See the thread below for information about Chinese visas, etc.

You needed to go through Immigration/Customs because you went from International to Domestic (DBX-KMG-PVG). I have done that connection as well without a Chinese visa (they gave me a transit visa at immigration).
However, I agree, it was a bit stressful and confusing; smaller airports might not be as accommodating.

Be careful on that advice. I transited China going DBX-KMG-PVG-TPE and was forced to go through immigration in KMG then PVG even though my luggage was checked all the way to destination. Not sure what would have happened if I did not already have a China visa.

With only travel on Friday-Saturday, you are probably looking at domestic travel.
To get things started:
ATL-SEA-ANC-SEA-ATL will get you about 7200 miles. x 4 trips will get you the needed miles
Various Friday/Saturday trips for $486 between now and end of year
Bookable on Delta

Midwest or East Cost to...for 15K+ MQM? Thanksgiving Week Ideally
Departure Airport: MSN/MKE/ORD or willing to position in NYC/BOS/WAS
Miles Needed: 15K+ (I'm at 106K MQM and just got a local project through EOY)
Required Spend or Budget: I'm > $15K MQD so no minimum spend but budget is $500-1200
Available Travel Dates: 11/17-11/26 (but want to be home on 11/23 so my mother doesn't kill me)
Required Metal or Codeshares okay: Yes, so long as not a 10 across 777
Notes: Open to buying PE on shorter legs for 1.5 like with either Virgin
Best I've found so far is ORD<>ATL<>JNB dep 11/24 ret 11/27 for $752 and 18K MQM which works with my schedule OK, but I'd prefer to not leave the airport although I guess 2 days IN JNB could be fun.
Edit: Changed to updated requested format

Delta MQD Req for GM
I'm looking for ideas on how to reach GM before years end. I already have the MQM, but need to meet MQD.
Fly first class or Delta one? I need one grand mileage run that could possible get me close to finishing the MQD Req.

How short are you?
It is unlikely that spending the cash is a smart investment, especially if it is a "grand" trip you're splurging on.

I will need about $2000. I have some trips that I'll be completing over the next couple months, but not enough to cover up to GM.
