For each request, please include the following information:

Departure Airport:
Miles Needed:
Required Spend or Budget:
Available Travel Dates:
Required Metal or Codeshares okay*:

For each response. Please quote the original request. DO NOT START A SEPARATE THREAD.

----

NOTE: there is not much time left in 2017, given that travel tends to be expensive around holidays. You will have greater chances of success if you have greater flexibility on travel dates and cost. If you need a lot of MQMs on weekends only for < 5 cpm it probably won't happen.

Other creative possibilities depending how many MQMs you need:
----

*"Required Metal or Codeshares" is, approximately, asking whether you need a flight operated specifically by Delta or if partner flights are ok. If you are just looking for MQMs to hit a Medallion tier the normal way, then the answer is yes. If you are doing a status challenge, the answer is also probably yes, but read the T&C of your challenge carefully to be sure (for the regular status challenge the answer is also "yes")

NOTE: some partner flights earn MQMs at reduced rates. See this chart for more info.

This shows up in delta.com, just put LGA in the from field, SIN in the to field. $430 is basic economy, $490 for main cabin.

For some reason I had thought you were doing a multi leg journey. I didn't even think to price it out like this.

If you can do a 3-day weekend, ATL-DXB or ATL-MCT are around $850 the first two weekends of Dec. If not, you could do ATL-FAI twice for around $460 each.

If you are willing to take red-eye back from the west coast (arriving on 10/7) there are some other options.
I've got the time to kill on that particular day and I'm need everything I can get in order to get back to 125,000 mqms to keep diamond this year. It was a super light travel summer for me and I'm not certain I'll be able to make a big mileage run, like to SIN, so if I can get a few extra thousand MQMs here and there I'll take it.

I'll be doing this same flight the following week on 10/13. Do you know how I could determine whether or not that same routing would work then, too?

As far as the red eye option, would that earn significantly more MQMs?

Thanks so much! That's really helpful!

What do you guys typically use to find random destinations for long haul mileage runs?

I could try and make a run work next week from 10/3-10/7 out of Atlanta. Any ideas of routes I could try? I'm just looking for as many miles as possible for as cheap as possible. Most of the Asia runs that I've found so far are right around $1,000. That's not out of the question, I'm just wondering if I'm not looking at all the possibilities!

If I were you I'd look at PEK, PVG, ICN, NRT, and MNL (extra long). If you're flexible you should be able to get it down to 4 CPM at least.

You've got some other good suggestions. But to add to them, in Matrix try the "Nearby" option for your destination. Take the mileage up from the default to maybe a couple hundred. Select the other international destinations and see if you unearth a longer run for about the same amount of money.

Question Journey to become KLM PLATINUM

Hey guys! I am not sure if I can post this here, sorry if I can't. So I am completely new to this world, and I could REALLY use some help! Well, I need to fly almost 25000 level miles in order to achieve Platinum status on KLM/AF flying blue. I currently live in Amsterdam so I am thinking about a mileage run to asia. But the thing is, I really need help finding the itinerary and ticket. This was pretty much all I could find

Itinerary
Amsterdam (AMS) to Shanghai (PVG) — Wed, Oct 25
Overnight flight
China Eastern 772
Dep: 12:40 pm
Arr: 5:25 am
10h 45m
Airbus A330
Economy (T)
Dinner
Thu, Oct 26

Shanghai (PVG) to Singapore (SIN) — Thu, Oct 26
China Eastern 567
Dep: 10:05 am
Arr: 3:35 pm
5h 30m
Airbus A330
Economy (B)
Lunch

Singapore (SIN) to Shanghai (PVG) — Sat, Oct 28
China Eastern 546
Dep: 10:10 am
Arr: 3:35 pm
5h 25m
Airbus A330
Economy (B)
Lunch

Shanghai (PVG) to Amsterdam (AMS) — Sun, Oct 29
Overnight flight
China Eastern 771
Dep: 12:40 am
Arr: 5:55 am
12h 15m
Airbus A330
Economy (T)
Lunch
Mileage
15,794 total miles
CO2 Emissions
2,420 kg (estimated by ITA).
Airport Information
Amsterdam Schiphol Airport (AMS)
Shanghai Pudong International (PVG)
Singapore Changi (SIN)
Cost per passenger (including taxes & fees)
€466.28
Total cost for 1 passenger
€466.28
Price breakdown 1:
€ per mile 0.0295
Basefare 17.2% €80.00
Tax 14.2% €66.40
Surcharges 68.6% €319.88
Bf+Tax 31.4% €146.40

but then I would have to do this 3 times, and I am not sure I have the time. So I was thinking if maybe there is a way to pay more (up to 1500 euros) and do this trip just once. Anyone?
