You'll be able to add your Hilton HHonors number by contacting Hilton. There is no reason to do that now, so please wait a few weeks until thing settle down.

It can be added at anytime, even as late as arrival at the hotel.

This is what I've booked

Hilton Tokyo 5/21/06-5/28/06
Hilton Osaka 5/28/06-6/05/06

So what happens if I decided to stay in Japan from 5/23-6/01?
That is, if I don't show up on the first day of Hilton Tokyo, can I still come in a couple of days later? And how about if I decide to leave earlier from the Hilton Osaka? Just wondering...

me too, but at about 3000 yen a night, it's significantly more expensive than the Hilton!
