Per the mods, the Mileage Run Deals forum is only for posting/discussing active deals. If you were looking for the previous mega-thread including suggestions on things to do in Singapore etc. and peripheral stuff related to the SIN MR but not directly having to do with fares or booking it, that thread can still be found in the Mileage Run Discussion forum:

In addition, discussions about DL and SkyMiles including recent program changes can be found in the Delta forum: https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/delta-air-lines-skymiles-665/

Questions/advice about Singapore as a destination can be found in the Singapore forum: https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/singapore-510/

Smile New Prices as of April 15, 2018

Prices still higher than I would want to pay, they will probably go down later. The best prices $884.31 are for 3 days out and back starting Sep 2-5 and going thru till Nov 6-9, with many weeks Sun-Tue, Mon-Thr, Tue - Fri but not every week with flights from IAH ATL/DTW NRT SIN NRT DTW/ATL IAH. Usually flights back thru ATL are higher and you will get a few more MQM. In Aug and prices are $1471.31 higher.
$884.31 - 21,000+ MQM Mult dates Sep 2-5, 3-6, 9-12, 10-13, 16-19, 17-20, 23-26, 24-27, 25-28, Oct 7-10, 16-19, 22-15, 23-26, 22-29, 17-Oct 1, Nov 5-8, 6-9
$889.86 Oct 15-22
$890.69 Nov 19-22, 18-21 - This is Thanksgiving week.

For our trip to India - misplaced 2 bags outbound, arrived 2 days later in Jalandhar. KLM flight from LAX 90 min delay so bag didn't make it to AMS DEL flight. At least on KILM we get comfort plus but not on Alitalia
In bound ATQ DEL FCO LAX SMF was original itin but flight DEL FCO late so missed connection, rerouted FCO JFK LAX but that would get us into LAX too late to connect to SMF. Called DM desk and they rerouted us JFK SLC SMF. FA on KLM and Alitalia were very good. No comfort+ seats on Alitalia without paying additional, were available on KLM for DM. Bag didn't make it to JFK and arrived 3 days later on Monday evening at our home. On a flight to TLV in May from LAX JFK FCO TLV unfortunately we are on Alitalia again both outbound and inbound from JFK, knowing what I do now I would choose to avoid Alitalia.and go with KLM or DL.
Blessings and Happy Travels to all. Have a Great Day and week. Next week to FLL and a cruise, a much slower method of travel but should be relaxing with stops at Haiti, Jamaica and Cozumel on Royal Caribbean - Allure of the Seas.

It is very frustrating the inconsistency between SkyTeam partners for SkyTeam Elite Plus members.

You would hope they could get that One Thing right!

Booked a run 9/7-11 with a buddy of mine. Looking forward to the DTW-NRT legs on the A350!

The wife and I booked it 9/21-10/1 from ATL-NRT-SIN for 955.00 which I think is an excellent price from Atlanta. I have GUCs waitlisted for the trip over.

Thanks OP for the trip tip.

Let us know if you get UG. We will most likely be in SIN the last part of Sep so hopefully we may be able to get together. Keep us posted on your plans. Thanks for your post. When we get closer to dates can send PM with more details.
Blessings

For anyone looking to do MQD runs (as opposed to MQMs) I just booked IAH-CDG-SIN-CDG-IAH in AF J for $34xx. Can't give great advice on how to replicate, because Google/ITA are spotty about showing results for this, which I semi-randomly stumbled upon just by looking around the dates that I had available.

Replicating the dates on AF's web site produced the same price but could not purchase ("technical error") and replicating in ITA Matrix and trying to book on DL via the userscript (which would've been nice since I have DL credits I want to use up) also failed at final booking with a fare increase to 7k+.

However I was able to get it ticketed at Orbitz and have an AF PNR and ticket number with seat assignments and everything, so...

In scanning the Premium Deals forum this doesn't seem like the best SIN J deal compared to some recent stuff, but for 35k+ MQMs and 9k+ MQDs it still seemed worth it

Fare rules for IAH seem to require travel starting on M-W in both directions. Saw possibilities out of both DFW and DAL as well as ORD. Happy hunting!

Thanks for your post

Zorak, thanks for your post and info. Will you have enough MQD by 12-31-18 for DM next year? We are finishing up a much slower mode of travel, a cruise. Tomorrow CZM and Sun back to FLL where it all started last Sun. Relaxing but no MQD or MQM and lots of food, haven’t seen any underweight people so far. One other option for those who cannot charge $250,000 on AX is getting MQD thru carefully selected flights on other carriers eg MU and others. Have a great day and thanks for sharing will contact you when I get back on Sun or Mon.

I'm probably going to be short both MQMs and MQDs this year since I moved my SFO-BWI travel onto UA. Taking into account planned travel I will probably drop to PM unless something unanticipated crops up...

Are you happy with UA

Only use UA when I can’t get there any other way eg Micronesia Marshall Island MAJ and TKK Truk before and now Chuuk. Have a great weekend!

It's been fine so far. Some crews better than others, etc. just like on DL

ATL-SIN, $773 Thanksgiving week

Delta has basic economy fares as low as $773 for ATL-SIN around Thanksgiving. Main cabin fares are an extra $100. I booked 11/18-24/18 for $923, main cabin.

This forum won't let me post images yet.
