Parking advice- ORD

Wanted some parking advice…
Driving to and staying at the IC O’Hare for one night then flying out of O’Hare the following morning for 9 nights. What are my best parking options while away? If there are any park, stay, and fly hotels, I’m happy to change my reservation to them for the night, although I doubt there are any with this option.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Most of the ORD hotels offer a stay/park package. Granted, the parking is not "free" (i.e. your 1 night rate will be higher than w/o the package). Check out the SPG Aloft at ORD; they allow up to 10 days of parking w/ their package.

Hi all! Attending the StarMegaDo & will come in on the 2nd/need to be at ORD around 7am on the 3rd as event starts at 7:30am; flight back from MUC lands at 6:30pm on the 8th.

Trying to figure out whether to do a park-n-fly rate w/ one of the ORD-area hotels or do long-term parking at ORD, and if so, which of the LTP. I want the least amount of hassle since it will be early morning on the outbound & I may be meeting FTers for dinner on the 8th so easy out, and of course a reasonable amount in terms of pricing.

Any input appreciated. Cheers.

Anybody know where the credit card payment machines that used to be at the train (ATS) terminal at remote parkingwent, and if they're coming back? I was surprised to see them gone today.

Another ORD parking dilemma. I have to reach ORD at 5AM on 11/17, return on 11/19 late night. No luggage, which would have been ideal for the Blue Line, but the times are bad and would be pain.

Still, I have to ask, is there a better alternative than Lot F?

For example, is there a safe convenient location along the Blue Line where I can leave the car and pick it at those hours?

I'm in the same position as PSU(s)HORTY and am using point to stay at the Renaissance. I would happily switch hotels, but cannot find a Marriott on Manheim...which one are you referring to?

I got some valuable info from this thread when a relative needed parking near ORD recently, so I thought I'd come and update it with a pretty good deal I recently received an e-mail for. I've posted all the details details here:

http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/s-p-m...-airports.html

FWIW, I was able to find ORD airport parking rates for as low as $6 per day by using the promo code I was e-mailed. Hope it's useful to somebody here!!!! ^^^

What do you guys think about this? I was originally going to do the train from Michigan City & then connect out to ORD, but because I'm going on a Sunday & when I'd need to catch train you said it wouldn't work out. So looking at airport parking possibilities. The Renaissance & Hyatt listed looks pretty good, as well as some of the others.

Long-term parking (i.e., overnight) is allowed in the "daily" area (Lots A/B/C), correct? Also, does the garage (which I assume is Lot A) fill up often? Trying not to use valet or park uncovered.

Overnight parking is allowed at $31 per day (12 hours or more is considered full day, I think). Parking garage fills up on occasion, but not too often. You are more likely to get in early in the morning.

So...now that ACE car rental, my preferred remote parking vendor, has moved south of the airport, I need to find a new place to park my car during business trips.

Requirements:
  • Within 5-7 min shuttle drive to the terminals
  • Easy access from southbound Tri-State
  • Frequent 24x7 shuttle (i.e., twice per hour won't cut it)

Having to drive south of Irving Park/Mannheim can add quite a bit of time to my commute, as O'Hare toll gets busy in rush hour, and the actual shuttle time is double of what it took ACE shuttle when they used to be located on Higgins/Mannheim.

Any suggestions?
