Which one?

Whichever one the third-party site has!

Don't you know that you have to match a flexi rate to a flexi rate, or a prepaid ("fixed") rate to a prepaid rate? Thus the OP is simply providing both, so that depending on what the third-party site shows as the rate and whether the third-party site has a flexi or prepaid rate you can tell whether it's lower than the (comparable terms) Marriott site rate or not. (You can't tell if you don't know both prices, and if you don't know whether a third-party site will have flexi or prepaid!)

So in other words, the OP here is asking for any LNFable rate, which means a rate lower than the fixed rate if the third-party site has fixed (prepaid) terms, but only needs a rate lower than the higher flexi rate if the third-party site has flexi terms.

Thank you for the explanation but there are two Renaissances in BCN and that was the question

Based on the limited information offered, sdsearch gave just about the only answer possible, as far as I could tell.

(emphasis mine)

And how could anyone reasonably be expected to know that based on the OP's post?

Well, someone has to know that there are two Rens in BCN to understand that's what you meant!

Couldn't you have asked "Which Ren, there are two there?" instead of simply (but confusingly) saying "which one"?

"Which one" did not clearly mean "which Ren" since (a) many people, including the person asking, might not have realized there were two Rens in BCN, and (b) there were two rates listed, not two hotels, so that's why "which one" seemed to be about rates (to people who did not know there were two Rens there).

Sorry for my vagueness.

I was looking for the Renaissance Barcelona Hotel, not the Renaissance Barcelona Fira hotel ;)

Oh yeah, which question was it that you thought was straightforward, the question which was not there? Or was it the question which the OP just admitted that he did not ask?

Was this a question about one hotel or two hotels, or was it just a request about two rates? Maybe it was a question about two hotels and two identical rates at two different hotels?

Yes, of course, someone does have to know, but even so, how would anyone know which hotel the OP was asking about? (as seen in the next posting)

Finally, the OP shared which hotel he actually needed help with!

No, hardly, I was just pointing out that the OP was not originally clear, and it was very unclear what OP was asking for, and for that, sdsearch and I have been criticized. At least sdsearch tried to help out, did anyone else? NO, they just criticized his answer, without offering an alternative of their own. Was there a point to that negativity?

I do hate it when a brand has two hotels in the same city, and names one of them simply after the city and the other one also after the city but with something added. Over at Hilton, that's an issue with Hilton Budapest vs Hilton Budapest West End, but FTers take care of that one by caliing the first tone "Hlton Budapest (Castle)", since it's in the Castle District.

You did give the name of the hotel you were asking for, after all. It's just that the name of the hotel you were asking for (nothing but brand and name of city) is confusing (without either saying that it's not the other one, or by giving its address or something).
