It's not just that. Some hotels just don't seem to come up with LNFable rates on other sites. It requires that the hotel have a practice of giving lower rates to someone, somewhere. Not every hotel does, ever. If a hotel gets all the booking it wants on marriott.com, it's not going to go through effort of putting up lower rates somewhere else, and so wil never be LNFable.

That's why it's easier in my experience to get LNFs if you are open to one of several hotels in an area, rather than only wanting one specific hotel.

I had the same issue, btw, with the Courtyard Aguadilla (Puerto Rico). None of the sites that worked for (some) San Juan hotels worked for this hotel (on the west end of Puerto Rico where there are no other Marriott family hotels). I too ended up just using points.

And I see the same thing on my (frequent) searches for LNFable hotels in the greater Anaheim CA area. Only a fraction of the Marriott family hotels in that area ever come up for LNF, and it tends to be the same few hotels over and over and over again.

Terribly sorry, I didn't want to waste efforts on comparison rates higher than the $144. The marriott.com rate was at 159 when I checked, 179 incl breakfast. As this is off strip Vegas I'd like to see it for under $100 a night but I am probably just being greedy!
