I need some here LNF champions... been looking to break this rate barrier for couple of hours but no success. I have even tried all promo codes, AAA rate and FHR rate through AMEX platinum. Nothing.

Hotel : Frenchman's Reef (St Thomas, USVI)
Check in : 12/23/2012
Check out : 12/24/2012
Marriott website rate - $249+tax

Help appreciated.

you might want to pass on codes such as AAA (and whatever FHR is) as these rates require ID which will then negate your potential LNF claim submission.............

I am just using the codes to find a better rate. Just incase, they beat the LNF rate... but no luck so far. Still can't find a lower rate.

I could use some help finding an LNF near SFO arriving 2/2/13 leaving 2/3/13.
Both Courtyards are $139, as is the Fairfield Inn; the San Mateo Marriott is $149, Residence Inn is $159, and the SFO Marriott is $169.

Many thanks!

is there a list of sites people like to use besides the obvious Expedia.com, Hotels.com and Priceline?

No, and there can't be. Marriott monitors this forum, so if everyone posted the sites they used, the fear is that a lot of the LNF opportunities would be shut down. So for necessity, that info should not be posted publicly. (That's explained in post one of the "LNF successes" thread.)

Furthermore, not the same sites work for all hotel locations. So either post your specific hotel LNF request in the "LNF request" thread (ie, this thread), or PM people who've reported success in the "LNF success" thread with hotels that you're interested in LNFing yourself. That way you'll build up your own list in the long term.

(I sent you a PM with a few sites that I use, to get you started. Please do not post the sites that I sent you anywhere publicly, tho it's of course ok to send them privately to other people.)

And for more on the LNF process in general, please see this thread:

I understand the frustration as I too have tried all the normal sites and even some other sites with help from other flyertalkers help. Nothing for JW in Costa Rica Jan 24 thru 26. It must be a popular place in the winter! Maybe I will use points as that is available.

Cosmopolitan LNF needed

Hello FTers!

I have had great luck in the past with Cosmo and LNF, but it seems like they are on to us? Here's what I'm looking for, and yes I know it's Super Bowl Sunday:

Cosmopolitan Las Vegas
Arrive Sunday Feb 3, depart Tues Feb 5
(We are checking in on Sat, but I am using points for Sat Night as rates are 300+)

Any help you can offer is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

My personal suspicion is that easier LNF's come and go based on when Cosmo offers their "stay 4 nights for the price of 3" style promos. I don't think the Marriott.com computers deal well with that, or at least not as well as other travel sites, so that's when it's easier to find a price difference.

It was reasonably easy to find LNF rates for NY until two days ago. Most of the properties are gone from the comparison websites that I used... Anyone seeing the same?
