Sweet way to beat the system. It should get you through Accounts Payable processing, if they are even checking. Given the volume of transactions at a major Corporation, I doub't anyone is even checking.

IMO, if you have to go through the hassle of submitting reports, waiting for reimbursement and paying off the card personallly, you should use what you want. I used to analyze corporate travel and at best, AMEX will give some transactional information on travel spend by broad categories - Hotel, Air, Car, Meals, etc in even broader categories of cities. It wasn't too helpful to me.

MR sent me the 20 for 35k, about time, they usually sent me the 15 for 25k and I always changed it to the 20 for 35k.

whats even better is I have a 12 night stay starting on the 25th and a 6 night stay starting on 10/19. So that leaves me with 2 to go and to requalify for Plat I need 6 nights after those 18 , so its a Slam dunk for me.

Got to fit in 3, 4 Points stays to double up on SPG promos as well and for requalifying for Plat with SPG as well.

ALL THE TIME!!! That is how I use the MR vacation cards. Do yourself a favor and order a bunch of those! 10% OFF, VISA CREDIT!!!

So, I got the the 20nights/35K, which I will easily get, but not until I am done with the Hyatt FFN!

Actually I received the 15 for 25K which is what I am on course for as of right now. But if I end up staying 20 nights then I will call and get bumped up. Now, I do have an additional 21 nights on an award during this timeframe, but unfortunately those nights don't count.

Just the 2,500 pts after 1st stay for max 10K pts. Signed up but doubtful that I'll stay at a Marriott as I'll be doing the SPG promo instead.

Received the 20/35 Megabonus as expected. I have zero problem putting the stays to Marriott but only AFTER the Hyatt's FFN and IHG Triple Points/online booking/Visa promotions are over.

It is good to have a promo but it is truly unbelievable how uncompetitive Marriott promotions always are compared to Hyatt or IHG.

Thanks for posting. That's how I found it.

My offer was for 10K but all awarded after third stay paid with Visa card and none for fewer stays and no more for stays over 3.

Got the 10k offer - I only wish the stay dates started immediately. We have a 4-day stay at an RI next week that won't help w/ the promo, darn it.

Hubby and I both got a different 10,000 point variation: Get 10,000 points after your 3rd stay paid with Visa between those dates.

I'm plat. He's nada. Go figure.

Remember plats can call the plat line and request a change to another version of the Megabonus promo. At the end of the promo, MR will review for that version or original for best points, when I've changed mine in the past.

Question

I'm still a bit unclear on how I can use both my VISA and another card. Let's assume my total bill comes to $250. Can I tell the front desk staff to bill $249 to my other card and $1 to my VISA?

Is there a way of using 2 cards without purchasing an additional item on the folio (gift shop, movie, etc.)?

Oh-so-true, Holtju2!

HYATT: 2 stays = 1 bonus free hotel night at almost any Hyatt in the world incl. those priced > $500 buxanite!

MARRIOTT: 3 to 5 stays = 1 bonus night at a Courtyard in a suburb of a burg-town by the Interstate Freeway!

Really disappointed in this bonus. I did not even qualify, had to call rewards desk to get the 35k offer.
