Lounge is closed, coupons available each day at the front desk (wouldn't give them to me at check-in and only give coupons for that day).

I can verify that Was there before Easter and got delayed due to weather The Lounge was closed on Friday at Noon for the weekend I was told I was on my own... Jane

It will be shortly after the new program starts that we will start reading about the properties granted exceptions.

Was just at the Old Town Scottsdale Marriott as a Platinum and did receive free breakfast on the weekend (does anywhere only offer that to plats and not golds?). No coupons they just take it off the bill when I charged to the room. Free underground self parking too (for everyone) which is nice in that desert sun!

Also, I stayed at the Los Angeles Marriott Downtown last weekend, and they said they had coupons on the weekends when I called the front desk to ask, but I got up late enough that I was more worried about making my flight than checking out the free breakfast.

the Somerset, NJ marriott is no longer a marriott....it's a Crowne Plaza (for a couple months).

The Bridgewater Marriott used to give coupons, or just say you could have breakfast on the weekends...but this weekend they said no..I pressed them as I have been here before, and gotten free breakfast, and they relented.

And as an interesting note, some CYs in the IAD area are testing different Plat gifts (similar to FS..points, etc) and free breakfast for Plats. We got that at the Dulles/Chantilly CY a couple weeks ago. (NOT the Dulles Towne Center one...)

IIRC, the lounge at the JW in Miami is OPEN on weekends....with a nice layout with hot foods...eggs, meats (MUCH nicer than normal) and FREE beer and wine!

Last night I checked into the Leicester Marriott here in the UK. For some reason I was upgraded to an Executive Room and the desk clerk said I would have access to the Exec Lounge. The website states opening hours as Mon - Fri, 6.00am - midnight and that it is closed at weekends but the sign outside the lounge says that the lounge is open 7 days a week, 6.00am - midnight. Continental breakfast served Mon - Fri and evening hors d'oeuvres and desserts served Mon - Thur and Sat from 5.00pm.

My rate includes full breakfast and I'm only Silver so I don't know their policy on breakfast coupons for Plats/Golds.

Got handed a printout at check-in listing the lounge hours. It's different from what is posted on the lounge door. So which is correct? In fact, both were wrong :(

The lounge is closed evenings on Fri & Sat, but it's open 6-10 am on Sat and Sun for breakfast.

The Inn & Conference Center, University of Maryland University College, Adelphi, MD - closed on weekends (a shame, their food is very good), no breakfast. They do let you in the CL to get a cold water or soda however.

San Mateo Marriott San Francisco Airport - while it is closed as noted before, they have a list of Platinum (Gold too??) members for which the buffet breakfast charges will be waived.

Pattaya lounge is open on weekends.

I will be at JW marriott in BKK next weeeknd but I've heard its open on the weekends.

While I haven't been to either, most Marriotts in Asia with lounges keep them open on the weekends. So most likely they will be open.

Chicago Marriott Oak Brook - Lounge not open on weekends and no coupons

Someone had posted not long ago that starting in May - all CLs are to be open on weekends (corporate standard).

Can anyone confirm this?

Having just returned from the Paris Marriott Champs-Elysees, I can confirm that there is, indeed, no concierge lounge.

But a free and, I might add, excellent breakfast buffet, valued at an eye-popping 29€, is offered to Platinums.

No coupons needed, BTW. They have your name and room number on file in the dining room.

Was the free breakfast for everyone in the room or only the Plat member?
