Budapest Exec Lounge open on weekends
This lounge is open on weekends and has an amazing view. There is a charge for alcohol -- even during "cocktail hour" which was a bit suprising -- I thought only US locations did this.
Food service for breakfast was decent -- scrambled eggs and other expected items (breads, fruits, cereals, etc...) nice sweets in the eve -- and various throughout the day. Hotel did not offer an alternative to eat at the buffet / restaurant, with the exception of the day we had a fire and the hotel had to evacuate at 8am on a sunday :eek: |

I'm scheduled next month to attend a conference there Sun PM-Fri PM. I take it that "NO LOUNGE (COUPONS)" means I'll get the standard five continental breakfast vouchers at check-in for M-F? I hope so as saving a few per diem $$ at breakfast allows for a finer dining experience in the evening. ;) Also, in the interest of contributing, the Renaissance Philadelphia Airport has a Sun PM-Fri AM lounge, with coupons provided over the weekend. |

Brussels Marriott - while all the signs and info in the hotel indicated that lounge is not open on weekends, it actually was and served an OK breakfast / evening snack on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
