Renaissance Kowloon & Marriott Nagoya Associa

Want to further confirm concierge lounge open on weekends at the following 2 properties:
Renaissance Kowloon Hotel
Marriott Nagoya Associa Hotel

The CL at MR Nagoya is first class in facility, services and quality of food. Not to mention to castle view. Am here for couple of days over New Year. Snowing today!

The lounge service at the Renaissance was very good also. We received personal attention and service from Eric and Sammy (a lady).

Concierge lounges at the JW Marriott hotels in Kuwait and Dubai are open something like 18 hours a day, 7 days a week! But this is no surprise. Most of the lounges at hotels outside the U.S. are very accommodating.

Atlanta Marriott Gwinnett Place not open Sat, Sun or holiday Monday (in my case, not open Labor Day) and no coupons. Very average breakfast anyway.

Is SEA airport Marriott CL still closed on weekends? I am considering using points for a stay there on a Friday in May, and am wondering if they are closed both Friday evening and Saturday morning? Do they give coupons for breakfast for a plat premier?

Concierge Opinions

I would like to get your opinions on the Concierge Lounges at the Charlotte Marriott City Center in Charlotte, NC and the Crystal City Marriott in Arlington, VA. I'm considering making reservations at these hotels in the near future.

Thanks,

Marcell

Go with the Crystal City Gateway.....The Crystal City Marriott is a dump and the lounge is adequate....
Never done the city center in CLT but I like the Renaissance Southpark with coupons offered every morning.

A couple from me:

Marriott DC Fairfax: Lounge is closed on wk-ends, but I was given breakfast coupons (I was there around the holidays)
Charleston SC Marriott: Lounge was opened on New Year's Day(!) and very decent CL.
Greensboro NC Airport Marriott: Not sure if the CL is opened on wk-ends, but I believe it isn't. It wasn't opened on the friday before Xmas. Other than that, the CL was pretty decent.

All JW's to open on weekends beginning in March?

I was in the Philadelphia Marriott this past weekend. On Sunday night I mentioned to the staff how I wished they were open on the weekends. They then told me that all the Marriotts were scheduled to begin opening the lounge on the weekends starting in March. This is a rumor, of course, but the source was pretty good.

Can anyone shed more light on this situation?

I wish Marriott Corporate would mandate that all lounges be open 7 days a week.

Having said that, I am not getting my hopes up at all.

Last few weekends I've been there the Farmington (CT) FS Marriott has been giving coupons (without being asked) for (cold) continental breakfasts on the weekends. (I'm Plat and don't know if Golds are included, but my wife's breakfast was covered.)
