Update. At another Marriott two weeks ago the lounge administrator told me that Marriott was changing their lounge policy, but it did not affect that particular Marriott because they offered full breakfasts to Platinum members. Back at the Philadelphia Marriott on March 9th (they were closed on the weekend), I was told that only the Marriotts that had business travelers on the weekends would be open. <sigh>

I think aaupgrade may be skiing in Vail, but you might want to PM him & ask him to update the list.

From what I understand having spoken to some Marriott lounge attendants the plan is to start opening lounges universally 7 days a week. I hear it should be before May.

Crossing fingers, but NOT holding my breath. ^

Courtyard Miami Airport South
 

Just at the Courtyard Miami Airport South on Saturday and I was given a coupon for free buffet brkfst at the Marriott next door (very nice spread). No need to ask, it was in the key packet behind my keys. Could be b/c of all the construction going on and that they closed the restaurant in the Courtyard until they make a new one. Btw- just stayed at the Hollywood Beach Marriott (twice) on Saturday it's closed but can get in for drinks and coffee cups (love those, nice and big- I never use the glasses in the room). On Sunday, at night they had tuna and crackers and hot pasta and chicken (very good). This morning brkfst was the regular. Keep in mind that it closes at 9 A.M.- a lot of disappointed people.

any way to search this thread? When I do a thread search for 'Scottsdale' in hopes of finding out about the Marriott Suites Old Town Scottsdale, the search results just link to this thread. Not very helpful!

I also previously got full buffet breakfast coupons for a weekend at the Fairview Park Marriott (as a gold elite).

Also recently received coupons for a full buffet breakfast at the Pere Marquette in New Orleans for a Sunday (lounge reopened Sunday evening).

Update for Washington Dulles Marriott Suites
 

This property now offers a free full breakfast everyday for gold and platinum members. Before, it was just a free continental breakfast.

The Marriott Suites Old Town Scottsdale (like most all Suites FS properties) does not have a concierge lounge but offers the guaranteed buffet breakfast throughout the week. If my memory serves me correctly, they do NOT offer coupons on the weekend.
