It is reported here that Marriott is dropping four Courtyard properties in Thailand by April ... how is that gonna affect the program as its books are in print now?

I had the gold card this year, just about to run out.
I think the 16 uses for dining thing is a new criteria - certainly my current card doesn't have any scratch off thingies and I've used it way more than 16 times for dining discount.
That would certainly be a reduction in benefits.

Well that serves me right for skim reading. I am SO sorry.
I didn't read it correctly, I thought it was 16 in total. I'm a thickie!:

Hi,
Has anyone managed to find out about the future of "Club Marriott" as it's going to be known with the withdrawal of almost half of the hotels from the program next year?

If anyone is interested, I have most of the Phuket fixed rate certificates that I will not be using that expire on 31 March 2012. Ideally this would be a trade for a Bangkok certificate, but since I won't use them anyway, they are available to anyone who can put them to good use.
I also have a few 50% off rack rate vouchers. PM me.
