I sure did. My reservation is not until September and I was told today about it after calling the hotel today. My reservation clearly states the children and includes club lounge access. So I guess there was an error on behave of the property.

What if you're Platinum? Will they not upgrade you to the club level because you have kids? Also, will they not let you use the club lounge as well? I haven't heard of this before, being denied platinum benefits because you are traveling with family.

I had no problem going in the club lounge with our almost 3 year old last April.

That's great to hear! I'm so surprised, because do they expect us to leave our little ones in the room while we're at the lounge? Were you also given a club floor room? I've heard it's no kids, but isn't that where the renovated rooms are?

Could be wrong, but the way I read the facility restriction is that they don't allow children in club rooms, period. Also, I believe they only allow two adults to occupy these rooms. But, as usual, YMMV.

While I was there, they were renovating the top floor (including the lounge). Once it opened we had no problem going in there. We had a club floor and had no problems there either.

Have to say, I enjoyed my stay very much, however, we did not use the club lounge for breakfast, only for hors d'oeuvres. But when they moved the lounge back to the top floor, the selections were very limited compared to its temporary place. We only went to the new lounge to check the place out, afterwards, we never went back.

I am a Platinum and LifeTime Gold with SPG. We are 2 adults and 2 kids heading to PV for Christmas vacation. For my upcoming stay, I contacted Sheraton PV and I was little unhappy about their response. This is the response I received
1. let me inform that in our Sheraton Club Level Floors (21-23) unfortunately we do not accept children.
Is this true?
2. I had applied my Suite Night Awards for my reservation and requested Suite with kitchen if possible. Response is: About your request, on the Suite we don’t count with any suites that have a kitchen,

Can someone give me little insight to this before I can reply her?
Thanks.

Yes. Their published Club Lounge policy is here:

Facility Use Policy

The VIP Club Level Rooms are only for adults, Children are not permitted.

It sounds like she is saying that the junior suites on the SNA rate plan don't come with kitchens, which makes sense.

Thanks William.
I have question:
According to the website (which I just found out): The VIP Club Level Rooms are only for adults, Children are not permitted.

What about the breakfast in this property? Does it include kids or only 2 adults?

Very good question.
For this reason, I think I have to consider staying at Westin Vs Sheraton PV.

Since children aren't permitted in the Club Lounge, kids will not be served breakfast there.

If you are inquiring about Platinum member benefits, the resort is required to give continental breakfast to the Platinum member and one guest in the room. Presumably, that would have to be a second adult if the room is on the club level.

We are traveling with kids. I am a Platinum & Lifetime Gold. If they don't allow the kids to Club Lounge that's fine as long as they provide us breakfast in some other restaurant as a Platinum amenity for all four of us. We don't want to make turns by waiting over the other adult to come back from Club Lounge. This is a resort and it will be a shame to plan a lot about breakfast.
Any thoughts William?

Yes. Your Platinum breakfast benefit is for two people in the room for continental breakfast, not four.

You seem to be in contact with the property already by email. I would continue the conversation with them and see what they say.

Couples getaway + All Inclusive

My partner and I are contemplating a long weekend in early September.

We would book Club Level and are considering taking the all inclusive option.

A handful of questions:
            TIA

I would choose the Westin hands down before the Sheraton. Much nicer pool area and in a quieter part of the Marina. I also could not imagine a beach vacation without a balcony to enjoy the mornings or evenings!
