I just had a stay here. Got the exact same upgrade I have been getting for the last 15-odd years. An ordinary Club room. The only thing new was that they gave a nice gift of a luxury bottle of Bulgari shower gel. This was out on the table, in addition to the usually Sheraton stuff.

Also, the Club is open til 11:30pm now. I'm not sure how long that has been in place as I thought it used to close much earlier. The Club host was kind enough to let me bring two huge cups of wine back to my room.

Oh, and they briefly tried to charge me for Internet, despite a placard on the front desk right in front of me saying Platinum members get free Internet.

Assuming that if one wants to stay here for a long layover at CDG that they will need to clear immigration before entering the hotel?

Or is it possible to get to the hotel (when arriving at Terminal 2E) without clearing immigration, and then go to connecting flight in 2F around 8 hours later still without clearing immigration?

I just had a stay there too. And my Bulgari shower gel was in the bathroom. Didn't realise it was a gift.

I always assume Bulgari products are a gift.

Not really. The Sheraton is completely landside, so what you suggest would not be possible.

Dropping off rental car & staying at Sheraton CDG

Can anyone tell me how complicated it will be to drop off our rental car at CDG and then get to the Sheraton CDG? I know that it shouldn't be too terribly difficult, but any advice would be appreciated. : )

The hotel is right in the middle of the airport, so it's not hard at all. And if you have a lot of baggage, you can pull up to the hotel, drop them off, then return the car.

Stayed here two separate times in June. Good, solid property. Really appreciated the proximity to the gates for early morning flights. Allowed my wife and I a few extra hours of sleep compared to staying in Paris. I liked the modern decor of the rooms. I wasn't thrilled that a king bed consisted of two mattresses pressed together, but I also found that wasn't unusual in France.

Email address for the hotel?

Does anyone by chance have an email address for this hotel? We have an upcoming AP stay which we unfortunately can't make as my wife has been unexpectedly grounded on doctor's orders, and it's impossible to predict when we can next travel. While contacting them via Starwood in the US yielded an offer of allowing us to reschedule our stay before the end of the year, it's unlikely we'll be able to travel before then and I'd like to negotiate with the hotel directly.

Thanks in advance!

The very proactive manager introduced himself on my last stay in October (Plat, multiple stays here) and gave me his business card. I'll try to find it at work tomorrow.

I got a rare upgrade to one of their suites which was very handy as I was hosting a meeting with colleagues there and we could use the main room in the suite. The suite also came with a bottle of Hermes Eau de toillet and Soap (Fleur de orange). That was quite a nice amenity. I almost forgave them for not participating in the double/triple points promo.

I stayed here a couple of nights ago for one night and was very impressed by this hotel. I successfully checked in a 7 am in the morning which was a shock in itself as I would have figured that would be impossible plus I got upgraded to a club room PLUS I got free breakfast on that morning and the next morning! Talk about double dipping.

I kept selecting internet plus free movie and i wish i did speak French as i would have taken advantage of the free movie too. I just selected the most expensive option figuring that would be the fastest internet option.

This hotel totally rocks and has really amazing staff. They did have some massive problems with their keycards so I had to get it replaced 3 times during my stay and once when I was on my way to the gym and had no ID was was escorted like a criminal back to my room with two huge security guards. I think that could have been handled a little better but good to know your room is very secure against people pretending to be you.

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone needing to take a rest near or around the CDG airport.

I stayed last week in this property in a cash+points rate.

I agree that location if you are arriving very late(my plane landed at 11,30pm) or departing early morning is fine, but otherwise I would avoid it as much as I could.

Probably due to the low rate and/or that I have no status with SPG but the room they gave me was terrible.

The bathroom WC was broken, the carpet in the room very dirty, furniture modern but in need of urgent renovation....

Before I had stayed only once, when it had recently opened(probably 16/17 years ago) and I loved it, but now I would feel bad if I had to pay around 200 euros for it.
