Thank you, William! You have totally spoiled us and set the bar so high for any other program... It's a rude shock to ever go over the fence and experience the cold hard reality! Best wishes.

William, all the best to you, and I hope you truly enjoy your retirement. I do hope your travels allow you to make your way back to Southern California at some point.

William,
Coming out of the woodwork (my last FT post was nearly 4 years ago) to say, "Thank you" and "Until We Meet Again"
You're the best, and you made it seem so easy. All good wishes to you!

Thank you William for all you have done for us and for the travel industry. You developed the standards that others have emulated.

I'm actually FB friends with William, he is such a good dude.
He got me some very special upgrades, birthday recognitions and got me out of some mistakes.
He was in my neck of the woods for a training seminar and I felt bad I couldn't take him out for a drink or two to say thanks.
Companies should use him as an example of what customer service should be.
All the best on whatever adventures life takes you on going forward.
Cheers Don

Reading his post again, didn't seem to be a hint that he was going on to another hotel chain.
Now, who has the inside story? Why (really) did he leave Marriott? Why Hilton? Was the Hilton offer before or after the "retirement" announcement here?
In any case, good news for Hilton, and very good news for FT. And best of luck to William in his new job.
