Our visit this year was shorter than normal. Just three nights, though we stayed in a villa close by for another week. As expected, the resort was busier than I’ve ever seen, but still didn’t feel too full aside from difficulty getting a poolside spot one day and, alas, seemingly no upgrades, though when we arrived at the rooms, both had pools. 👍
Ventured up to Marathopoli one night and was pleasantly surprised. not quite as busy as Gialova, but worth a trip. Gialova, by the way, continues to grow. A few new restaurants here.
Didn’t see the new W. It opened a few weeks after our stay.

The playground next to the water park was replaced with a new rectangle pool. I guess the idea behind is to have a space for adults to swim while the kids enjoy the water park...

I'm staying at the Westin.
Not much as changed since my last stay in 2020, besides the additional pool next to the water park, and a few activities like escape rooms, in the indoor activities center.
They have introduced a policy whereby kids need to be 1.2m tall to use the slides, which is annoying for many families.
The atmosphere at the Westin continues to be very relaxed despite the high occupancy. Always easy to find lounge chairs by the pools and beach.

What is the child policy in The Romanos? Can child (10y) stay for free in parents' room? Room details explains that there is a charge of EUR 80 per night for use of rollaway bed, but if child stays in parents' bed it should be free, right?

The Romanos has added a new stunning adult pool for guests above 12 years. During our visit, the staff though didn't really care about the policy as there were some kids there with their parents.
The Westin added a new slide tower for smaller kids to probably address exactly what Fly613 addressed.

Superb hotel, excellent family holiday
I was here with my family for a week's long holiday at the beginning of July. The resort is great, with several pools, a very nice beach, and the common areas look like a garden.

My room was spacious with a nice view and close to the beach. The beds were very comfortable and the infinity pool was a very good solution during the hot weather. The beach is also very nice, with plenty of sunbeds. The resort was full, but it was not felt at all in the common areas, on the beach, or in the restaurants. Perhaps only the pools saw more people.

We visited several restaurants, all of them were great with the exception of the buffet at Morias which was not worth it. Restaurant prices were reasonable for what was on offer. We also visited a few bars, they have live music (very good lineup) on some of the days.

Breakfast

The beach
I want to specifically mention the excellent service at every level in the resort. From the people at the reception, through housekeeping, the waiters at the restaurants to the people from the beach bar.
I am an ambassador, I took three rooms, I asked them to be close to each other, even though the resort was full, they managed to fulfill my request and even one room was upgraded by one category.
