The single withdraw limit is $500, so I have to do 3 $500 withdraws to get to $1,500. I'm usually on my cell phone and don't really pay attention to if I've done 3. This has always been fine in the past, as the 4th withdrawl attempt gets denied and I move on to the next card. However, last month I got hit with a .75 charge for attempting to do that 4th withdrawl. I'm ticked off at the stupid nickle-and-dime-type charge and am thinking about calling. But at the same time, it's only .75 (times 3 cards).
Anyone else gotten hit with this? |

Current US Bank Limits
Based on one of the previous posts --
What is the current maximum you can load on a US Bank Visa Buxx card at one time? (I thought it was $500. If its more than this, I could minimize my loading fees when using a non-US Bank cc.) What is the current maximum you can withdraw at one time from a US Bank Visa Buxx card using a US Bank ATM? (I thought it was $200 every 4 days.) Do US Bank's in different regions have different rules? I would like to avoid calling attention to myself by asking these questions of US Bank customer service. |
Can the USBank VisaBuxx card be used to buy USPS or Walmart money orders? There are no USBank ATMs in my area.

so i thought this would be a great deal, but its not. signed up for a card and used my united debit card, but it charges as a debit, not like a credit card. grrrr! not so happy.

Anyone else gotten hit with this? I am a little confused. Can you load $2000 on one card in a single day? I thought the $1500 per month was again being enforced. Also, can you withdraw $1500 (3 x $500) from a single card in one day? I thought the limit was $500 in a 4 day period. Regardless of the preceding is $1500 or $2000 the monthly limit? |
$2,000 can be loaded in any 31-day period. $1500 can be withdrawn in a single day, and you have to wait a week to w/d the other $500. I know that's not what the rules say, but that's what I've been able to do ever since I've had the card.

Are you withdrawing from a US Bank ATM or some other bank ATM? |
500/load
US Bank |
Well folks. I'm done. My last BOFA load cycle was today! Still have $500 left on 1 card to clear off.
My overall stats for this deal was... 3 Cards Total (between my wife and I) 99,944 Miles Good Luck, Scho |
Now that the Bank of America party is over, I too am thinking of trying USBank. But it sounds like for those of us without USBanks nearby and without their credit card, the cost is a rather high 0.8c/mile ($2.50 load fee + $1.50 ATM Fee for every $500). So I think the way to go is getting a Worldperks Visa from USBank to eliminate the load fee, leaving only the ATM fee which works out to 0.3c/mile.
Is this what those of you are doing who don't have access to USBank ATMs? |
