USB Buxx
(NOTE: stopped taking new applications ~mid February 2014 through the official link.

Also - Answer ALL the identification questions in your profile (not JUST three or four) USBuxx will sometimes ask you one of the questions, if you use the account on a new computer. HOWEVER - they are more than happy to ask you an unanswered question - talk about BROKEN! So, answer ALL the questions so that when you are prompted - you can answer any of them.
Do not load with any US Bank card as this will not provide points.

NW Buxx
Max # of CC on file for both is 2. Each has a max # of loads per card per 7 day rolling period (~3/4). If you card fails to load, first try to switch to another CC, second check to make sure there are at least 7 calendar days between loads.
Reports of Citi cards (at least Mastercard) coding as purchase for NW Buxx (Jan 2015), but YMMV.
- Initial purchase fee: $5 (waived with promo code: 02050053)
- $2 load fee
- Max load per day: $500
- Max load per rolling 30 days: $1,000
- The maximum Card value is $1,000.00

Do not create too many accounts too fast. Some reports of account shutdown when same SSN used across multiple cards / accounts in a short period of time.

Contrary to the wiki and others' experience in this thread, I did an initial load to a NW Buxx with the Citi Hilton Reserve card and it posted as a purchase. No cash advance fees. Specifically, it posted as "NATIONWIDE BANK/GIFT" under category "MORTGAGE COMPANIES-FINANCIAL INSTITUTION".
This was accidental, bcs I'm a dope and forgot it was supposed to be different from TD Buxx, but it ended up being a hopefully useful data point for someoene else.

I do wonder if different Citi products code purchases differently though. For example, since Hilton cards require a separate login with Citi, maybe they have a different structure for purchases than AA cards. I remember with TD Buxx, certain Citi cards showed pending purchases forever, while others cleared normally.

Initial load when I ordered the card. I doubt that it matters though. My assumption is that if it wasn't a cash advance the first time it will never be.

Actually, it does matter, the initial purchase + load of the card is treated as a purchase on all cards IIRC, while the loading thereafter is what you need to watch for CA issues. Its been a long time, so someone feel free to correct me, but this was the case with at least one of the buxx cards.

I posted about this problem about a month ago and said I would be back 11/11 to try again. Many theories were put forth as to why I was getting declined. I was (and am) convinced that all theories were wrong.
In any case, I tried yesterday (WM Martinez, CA) and Buxx would not load to BB. I tried a smaller amount than last time ($500), still failed. 30 seconds later the same Buxx card loaded to Serve ($800 - full balance of the card since I resorted to ATMs to draw it down). It is not a Buxx problem or an amount problem, it is a WM BB USB Buxx problem. Specifically, apparently, Martinez WM and others TBD. Some of you are still successful. Good for you.
Some of you are being successful with USB Buxx onto BB at WM, but others, along with me, have a hard fail. It would be great to get to the bottom of this. I will try a few other WM, but it is looking like ATM is the way to go.
The attempted load shows up on my Buxx transaction history with all details of the transaction intact, then a line through it all. It says 'approved' on the pad, and then the cashier tells me it didn't work, payment source not allowed, and hands me a little slip of paper instead of the usual 2 feet of paper for a successful load.

USB Buxx
I have a new (to me) loading problem. Makes zero sense in the context of the Wiki. Don't know if rules changed, because no problem last month.
I have 1 funding source. 2 teens. $2K x 2 teens leaves me $4K per 30 days.
Loaded $2K on 10/12 card 1
Loaded $1K on 10/20 card 2
Loaded $1K on 10/29 card 2
Loaded $500 on 11/11 (card 1) - 30 days plus a couple of hours ater the 10/12 load.
Second $500 load failed last night. Failed again this morning.
The request to load funds has been denied for the following reason:
An error occurred while attempting to add funds to your account. Please verify that the information you have provided for your payment method is correct.
My payment method has not changed in many months. The only conclusion I can make is that the max load per CC has dropped from $5K to $2.5K??
Any other ideas?

Sry if this has been answered already: does the NWB load to Serve @ the WM register? If so does it count towards the $200 cash allowance or towards the $800 purchase allowance?
When getting cashback from the register it counts towards the cash allowance on my card...
