I just received the One card in the mail yesterday.
I have 1500 points and also the offer to get 10% (up to $20) in cash back on first purchase at Walmart. If I end up with 3500 in points, I can take the One card to Walmart and get $35 in cash out? When loading the One card at Walmart, do the cashiers know how to do it? Just mention One card?

You can withdraw the money from the Cash Account at the WM cashier.
Went to the customer service counter and withdraw $15 today. |
I am aware that once I activate my permanent/chip card I will no longer be able to load at SCO. Obviously, I'd like to keep that going as long as possible.
I received an email saying that it was time to activate my permanent card and that, "Starting January 23, 2026, you won’t be able to add money with with the card you purchased at Walmart." Does this mean that, as long as I don't activate my chip card I can continue loading at SCO until Jan? Is this specific to me or was that just a general announcement? For those of you that tried to put off activating your chip card as long as possible, how long were you able to drag it out (either from account opening or from getting the email telling you to activate it)? |

I believe that you now have human eyes on your account, since they sent you a follow up letter. They don't know who you actually are since you haven't registered your account. You need to make a decision as to whether you want the account or the ability to load the card, which you can still do with the chip card, just not at SCO (as far as I know). |

When loading the OnePay debit card at WM,
do you insert the debit card just as with Discover debit or do you show the barcode that is in the OnePay app ? |

Insert. Bar code hasn't worked properly in a while, at least for me. It started having weird limitations about 4-5 months ago where I could only load $200 or less. With insertion it works great.

Well, it looks like my time might be up. Just got the following email from OnePay:
"Due to unusual activity, your OnePay account has been restricted. During this time, you will not be able to deposit funds. You will continue to have access to current account balances. We will follow up with a separate email message, typically within 24 hours, that may include questions requiring your immediate attention and response." I’ve been loading $990 at a time consistently over the past few months. In September, I loaded close to $7,000, including several back-to-back $990 loads in the last five days of the month. I never withdrew cash. I made a few small purchases at Walmart just to keep things “normal,” but primarily used the account to make ACH pulls from Amex and Chase credit cards. So now I’m wondering, Is there anything I can realistically do here? Or should I just take the L like a MS-Man and start looking for ohter greener pastures? |

I'm curious to know if you were moving all/most of money out of the account through bill pay or you were keeping something in there? Were you keeping any in the saving or all was in their checking? For how long were you doing MS on OnePay? |

Sorry to hear this. Unlikely, but I hope they just want to confirm some information or something in that order.
