DP - Not new news, but just sharing...$99 swipe from OM/OD VGC worked to load at Money Center at WMNM today. I had used the $200 card to pay organic spend of $101 so this load drained it.

Also had a sweet offer of $15 cash back for $15 spend at Walmart if I used my one card, so I picked up a few things and paid with one card and it dropped the $15 in my savings account.

I kinda like this One card. :)

The One card certainly is a far sight better than the Go Bank card.
- no charge fee to load, even with GCs (although if you overdo it, there is a quick hook off stage for you)
- 5% interest on savings, and not limited to some nominal amount such as $5K, but as much as $100k (I know, who has that amount but the Community Bank is willing to pay it if you have it)
- Reasonable offers and a cash-back for Walmart if you happen to be a WM shopper
- Other merchant offers including some reasonable gasoline offers that I would uise if Chase Freedom this quarter wasn't giving 5% back on gas.
- Easy loading of the card at the cashier for full amount of GCs or limited amount at customer service.
- Unlike Amex snipping away at Serve and BB, One seems to be doubling down on offers
- Actual fee free checking account

In my humble opinion, this card is not worth losing but as with all things YMMV :o

I’m definitely a small time msr so I’ve rarely loaded the One card. but it’s fun to know I have the option.
I’ll have to check out the go bank card.
I initially got the bluebird and tried loading at FDs but all the ones around here say cash loads only and I’m not around one enough to keep trying other employees.

I like liquidating online when I can even if it means 3% fee. I’m lazy :p Plus I usually get my gc at OD/OM when they have the rebate sale and typically I’m working on SUB so it makes sense for me to do it the lazy way when my online things work.

Can cashiers at the WMNB load One cards? It’s the closest WM to me and I’m lazy…I know I know…I’ll try it next time and see if I get sent to MC. :p
I want to try it with the everywhere cards next time around since people are saying they fully drain at cashier :)

one's my secret, but it takes a few days to get it into your account so you have to be patient. I think I found it digging around here or reddit. :).

All of them are low msing type things, but all teamed together its possible to do a decent amount that I like for hitting SUBs.

Some stores have VGC/MCGCs all missing: still there at 1/3 SCs and 2/2 NMs. (Technically one of the empty SCs had a few random SS in an aisle.)

On June 15 2024 I tried to load my one account with 3 different vanilla Visa cards purchased at Walmart. All 3 declined and then I called vanilla who said they needed to replace the card and verify my identity documents. I send the documents and they said 7 business days. 7 business days go by and then the day 30 business days. I’ve been calling everyday and now I’m at 30 business days today and still nothing. Has anyone had this issue and know a way to resolve quicker? I’ve even opened a better business bureau complaint and nothing.

First time loading the One card at WM today was a success. $396.00 debit load with (4) $200 BHC VGCs at $99.00 per swipe. Thanks for the DPs everyone!

DE, GE, SE VGC from OM/OD have all worked to load One at my WMNM and WMSC at the MC at both. Full drain of $200. I’ve been doing one/two per day this week but that’s a lot of going to Walmart for me. I got the courage up to try split payment with 2 GE cards for my Discover debit. Idk why I was stupid nervous the lady for sure thought I was crazy 🤪
It worked fine and she didn’t say anything.
Funny thing, she didn’t even know they loaded Discover. Shoot me neither until I found it on here. 😅
