Thanks for the DP.
If I had to guess, it ts the ACH transfer to another bank that got you into trouble.

I would guess that 99% of One customers don’t have another bank account and anyone doing money transfers out of them gets ratted out:eek:

If I were a compliance officer at the bank, especially one with low end customers, I would be on the lookout for anyone depositing funds and immediately moving them to another outside bank.

So basically all you did with the account for 4 months is deposit money and immediately withdraw half of it. You didn’t buy anything with it or pay legitimate bills, I.e, not credit card bill, with it. You even probably ACHed the money to another bank account.

And you thought that was going to pass muster with a bank’s Rats, especially a bank that is already under the Feds guns for lax MLing controls???

IMO, One is a lousy MSing vehicle unless you use it to liquidate cards without needing the funds immediately.

I actually didn't do much of what you listed, but I agree that is not sustainable behavior for MS. It was a new product and having three accounts gave me the ability to feel them out for what kind of volume they would put up with. Each account closed was a lesson learned which altered the usage of the following account. Behavior on P3's account is a refined version of P1 & P2 accounts and seems to be dialed in for sustainable use despite it not being a viable large volume tool. It's all just a game and everyone can play it however they like.

Yes one thing I have learned from everyone on here is NOT to take the funds out by atm or transfer to another bank. Paying something off is the only way. it clearly shows cash added by card so why would you take it back through an atm? Send that cash out to pay off any other account directly is how it survives.

DP: Vanilla I finally bought one for $499 and then loaded my One card for full amount of $499 with no issues. Any time I do $500 and try to load full amount it has failed.
i have a stack of vgc with $1 left I keep forgetting to spend so this seems like a better option 😁

Where to buy the $499 vanilla card? Is there processing fee?

ONE card and VGC that function loads at Walmart

Hello everyone!

New to the ONE card but read through the thread to get the card details. My only question is open to annyone and everyone who has loaded the card within the past month. What gift cards and from where (location bought at) work unloading at Walmart? I’ll add that in my area I do not have a Staples. I do have an ODOM.

Not bad! I had mine about 18 months before shutter. I'll be interested to know if your theory stands the test of time.

:p If you're MSing then you have credit card bills to pay. I've never taken cash of my BB and I don't think I've even ever made a purchase.

Again, it all depends on amount and frequency.
I discovered to my distress (and card closure), that making very large payments (5 digit) to insurance companies will also get you shuttered.
The clientel that uses BB is not even lower middle class. They don't have continuous four digit credit card payments, nor do they make five digit deposits each month. Such behavior eventually gets the Rat's attention, and unhappy results.

As long as you can enter the biller's name, address and phone number into the BB app, it will pay their bills.
There are many DPs out there where people have had trouble getting Amex BB to accept payment to....you guessed it, Amex credit cards

However, a tip. Enter the Amex card not as a business but as an individual payment. BB will accept that, and it pays correctly ;)
