Wait what? They just shuttered P2 card as well? How long have you had both cards? Did you do any offers like the other person? I assume you opened both cards at the same time.
However, one thing I can think of is that I once sent a "One To One" money transfer (I think that's what the called it, can't access the app any more) from P2 to P1. Once they had eyes on my account, they may have traced the "One to One" payment to see who I was in cahoots with, and that put their eyes on P2 account. This is all just conjecture of course. We'll never know for sure. |

Well foo! P2 account got shuttered too! Guess they're on a shuttering rampage.
Obviously it was enough to not only get your personal account canned, but your P2 account canned as well. ::eek: |
Yes going from a One temp card and transferring to a permanent card is pretty suspicious. They may look at it like you're trying to hold 2 accts and only see it from a laundering aspect instead of MS.

damn that don’t sound bad at all. I bet it was the gift card. I tried using OnePay to buy one actually and it got denied, so I bet they don’t want you using those $5-$15 coupons for cash equivalents. I got a separate intro offer for 10% and I’m going to try that elsewhere then.

Loading with multiple cards
Probably a newb question that I couldn’t find a good answer for in my readings.
When loading $600 with 3x $200 Staples BHN VGC at a cashier using the physical One debit card to swipe, do you need to tell the cashier that each swipe will be $200 or does the POS auto drain the VGC and prompt for more payment? I just set up an account and loaded $99 via the barcode at CS ($200 Staples VGC load failed as expected at CS/MC though I did try it). My aim is to do max loads at a normal cashier once my physical ONE card comes. Thanks in advance for the help. |
I dun fked up
I was buying a MO at WM. My last swipe failed ( error code 51 insufficient funds ) and I paid for the rest the MO with the One debit that I just loaded earlier in the day. Expecting shut down any moment now.

You don't think perhaps it's the "same address" for P1 and P2 that tipped them off instead? Also, has anybody here successfully loaded more than $100k in aggregate into their ONE acct (either with or without a shutdown)? If so, please either post back confirming so, or else PM me if you'd prefer. Thx.

Guidance for a newbie
First time post and user. I just signed up with the One app last week. I just bought 3 $200 MCGC from OM (BHK 511332 11/23 exp). I registered one and set the pin and waited a day. Yesterday, I went to the Money Center and asked to load the whole $200 via the barcode on the app. I said I had a debit card. I swiped, put in the pin and got an error. Unfortunately, I don't remember the exact code that came up. I walked away since not pushing it was a recurring theme in the posts. Are there any glaring mistakes in what I did ( wrong GC, setting a pin, going to a MC, etc.)? I'd appreciate any pointers. Thanks.

Read more about using MCGC to load at Walmart. Otherwise you don't need to do anything to the VGC/MCGC you buy from OD/OM. You just use the last 4 digits for the pin, no wait needed.

Best not to use MCGCs for this because of the way MCGCs are coded at WMs. Better to use VGCs for this so they always prompt as a debit requiring PIN.
