You mean $480 for either BHN or InComm?

The DP was for GE/DE cards, which have always been good for a single $200 swipe. Recently only starting to see failures after swiping 3 consecutively.

Thanks, so there's nothing else to infer from this and other threads without testing.

Just thinking out loud after reading this. I had a USB fail to load yesterday. USBs have been working without issue for me, so I switched to my Serve card, and boom immediately loaded $500 no problem. I checked my Discover velocity limits and I haven’t come close to any of them. Even though it says you can load $1k in 24hrs I’m beginning to wonder if it’s actually $500. I had loaded $500 less than 24hrs before, but other than that I’m well within the limits. Something I’ll have to test again.

I hit the 7 loads/7 days limit without realizing it a couple times. Just a thought.

i've done $800 in a day so $500 is not the max. The most in 1 transaction I've done was $600

The Wiki post is unclear if this is per calendar week, or per rolling 7 days.

The limits on this thing are a like a really bad grade school math problem.

All limits are rolling. If anyone knows how to fix that disaster in the wiki, let me know

I did 1k even a few days ago, swiped 2x vanillas. No request for ID, although the starting interface is new showing a few buttons with options of transaction, and asking for zip code.

For me its always been:

1. Tell cashier I want to load my card
2. Wait for cashier to enter action code 70
3. Insert my card
3a. choose "Discover Debit" on newer registers (angled card swipes)
4. Enter zip code
5. Tell cashier amount I want to load
6. Cashier enters amount
7. I confirm amount
8. Swipe away

Then when the swipe inevitably fails you're screwed since they can't cancel the transaction without manager code.

I do 3x$200. I've never had an issue with cancelling the transaction. Maybe all the cashiers I've encountered are managers or CSMs with those privileges. First try has never failed. Loading a second card right after does fail sometimes so I stick with loading 1 at a time.

Do you always do it at MoneyCenter? WM in your area must not be sensitive to GC at all.
