I have $6k in stuffs which have been sitting at PM warehouse for over a week! Hope they don’t “lose” any big item.

If the BG does ACH into your checking account, lets say, 20k after they scanned the items. As mentioned by someone, this amount is not considered as income (if you earn 0 commission) but a reimbursement of the purchase price. Do you still have to report this amount with some IRS FORM when filing tax next year?

My amazon order delivered to PM on 11/30 just checked in today. So it is really slow.

This year is very different from previous years, maybe pandemic has some role, but never ever have I waited this long to get items scanned across all BG's

I've checked last year. for 2020, most packages ordered black Friday weekend were checked in roughly 2 weeks after delivery across all BGs. I have a spreadsheet tracking all orders and tracking numbers.

definitely have the best experience buying for BFMR. their Salem location usually checks in the same day and the other four location usually checks in packages 2~4 business days. payments are all issued via ACH the same day that the pkgs are checked in. emails are all promptly responded, never had a lost package. There was one damaged package but it was Walmart's fault so I sent it back for a refund.
Pointsmaker is not bad. they did 30+ deals for prime day and has only checked in 5/10 of mine so far. hopefully they won't lose any packages. payments usually takes longer to issue compared to BMFR, but usually less than a week. |

It took them like 10 days to check in my last package to them. From their updates it looks like that is what its gonna be for a bit. Its taken a couple days for ticket responses on what usually takes a couple hours. I'd hit them up on whatsapp though if its been awhile on ticket w no response.

I don’t think they work with each other per se although some groups use the same software. They’re in competition for deals and different groups will outbid one another. Some groups do share the same warehouse though which increases the risk of a package getting lost or going to the wrong group.

Just a tip I’ve realized having done BFMR for 6+ months: if you can pay via PayPal, you should do so. The buyer protection is second to none and way easier than a CC dispute. The burden is on the merchant prove delivery via signature vs on the customer.

Help with USA Buying Group
I just started BG for a couple of months, used a few BGs and for the most part, they're all pretty good (other than the delays lately).
BUT I bought 2 GoPros for USA Buying Group what was delivered on 11/17 and 11/19. I think they lost one, and I requested the payment for the one they have and no response. I opened a ticket more than a week ago about those issues, they just replied they'll look into it and then nothing after that. Does anyone has their contact number? It's very frustrating when this happens :( |
