PointsMaker got me too. Well, scam me once, shame on you, scam me twice, shame on me, right? They don’t know it yet but they’re not getting my M&P silver dollars, either. I didn’t cancel the orders; I sold them to Pinehurst for even more than PointsMaker intended to pay. I would never have even looked into Pinehurst if PointsMaker hadn’t failed to hold up their end of the bargain. So long, suckers!

Reddit folks praise MFMR a lot but they're the only buying group I had issues with. I have done about 82k with them this year but I no longer wants to do business with them.
Having 2 packages sent to Nashua address went lost (about 2 months apart). Those two both sent by fedex, signed for by somebody and they claimed not receive it. Their answer always resolves with retailer or CC company.
Chase was able to reimburse me with first package lost. Second package lost and initially reimburse by amex but then amex later (about 2 weeks) came back said they will bill me since walmart said package was signed for.

Here is my conclusion:
1. Amex customer service is sh**. I have to pay $595 annual fee and they not really work in my favor. This year i've spent more than 100k with amex. I should shift my spend to other card.
2. Walmart customer service is sh**.
3. Don't do business with BFMR.
4. Look like all buying groups (include coin dealers) now have many users already so they start paying less than retail, asking to cancel or asking user do more work to get the deal, just to sell stuff to them for face or less than retail value. Buyer took all the risk.

The next group I had issue with is the deal buyer. 2 packages sent to them and they claimed the quantity is less than what being shipped by amazon. Amazon is easy to deal with but I don't want to risk the relationship.
MYS is slow in check in and slow payout.

Did they end up checking in all your packages? I just starting out with Pointsmaker and in the beginning they were really fast. Usually check in the same day or next day the last but my most recent order that I shipped to them using their labels has still not been checked in and it’s been days already. Is that normal?

IME, they are inconsistent.. one shipment got scanned same day, others took 2-3 days.

I am new and just started with BG. Maybe i am doing something wrong. Other than amazon my orders from BB/WM/Dell are immediately cancelled. I have tried little variation in address but to no use. Would like to hear from folks who have been doing this - if there are any tips.

Nope, you're not doing anything wrong.....those orders are VERY hard to get through. Good Luck!

You're on your way to discovering why these buyer's groups aren't worth the time and effort. Oh and with some retailers, if you try to ship to a buyer's group too many times, they will outright ban you. And some of the bans are pretty strong. So tread carefully.

This happened to me as well with EMB (but also with other groups).
I have to say that EMB seems the most inflexible and unwilling to do their best to track down a missing package that Amazon claims that it was delivered.
The group that actually paid me one such item (instead of telling me to settle the problem with Amazon) was USA Buying Group. If they only would be faster in scanning and payments...

That's good to hear about USA but for me the check in times are getting to the point of being a deal breaker. A month just isn't workable if many retailers' return period is 30 days. If you miss a confirm and they reject you, which they are well within their rights to do, you're pretty much .... out of luck.

Anyone having an issue with their mint coins not meeting the PM 10/13 deadline can try contacting PFS they might want to buy it,
I've been buying coins for PFS for the past 3-4 years and never ever had a bad experience with them, very detailed instructions all along the way from getting thru with mint order till shipped to them,
And of course they would never back out of an agreement once you commit to buying the coin,
And they would usually try to match any competitive offers.

I had 2 Dell orders shipped with FedEx to BFMR in mid September, item was undeliverable according to FedEx and returned to sender,
Dell already received back both orders and said refund will be issued within 10-15 business days its already way past that time, called several times even spoke to a Supervisor that assured me I'll get it within 2 business days but still haven't received it,
anyone had this in the past or any advice what to do?
I can just go ahead and dispute charges since I have all supporting documents to support my dispute, but can this dispute draw unwanted attention since its for a BG and potentially ruin my relationship with chase.

TIA

Any tips for gopro? It worked for 4-5 orders on different emails but now even with a clean email and vpn it's not even letting the payment process. I googled it and a lot of non reseller customers run into it as well, which is not promising.

Office Depot kept cancelling my orders

I’m new to buying groups so it’s my first time buying. I placed order multiple times wirh Office Depot only to have it cancelled 20 min after. It’s not my cc since I see the charges went to pending. No one at OD can tell me why my orders got cancelled. Any one experienced this and can shed some light on why my orders kept cancelling? Thanks in advance!

They know you're sending it to a buying club based on the shipping address and don't want to sell it to them for resale.

Is there a way around it?

I started an amazon business account thinking I would be able to add one more set of orders, but I have started to get cancellation notices now. Hope that's either normal or not a bad sign. I also cancelled 2 apple watch orders and then reordered the day after and those have been cancelled for exceeding quantity limits as well. Not sure what's going on there

I have a similar situation with Dell and I do not longer purchase from then, I contact them by chat (they save the chat and email to you) and told them that I will escalate the matter to my credit card issuer, they promise to resolved within a week and assigned a especial individual to babysit the refund, the refund was completed in 3 days.

Good Luck
