Signing up to buy $1000 visa/mc gift cards
You can buy the $1000 cards on Simon's volume site. Their regular site only sells $500 cards.
If you're new, or haven't bought anything in a year, you need to register at https://www.simon.com/volume/register-consumer
As part of the registration process, you will have to go to a brick and mortar mall and buy at least $3000 in cards in person, as well as filling out some paperwork while there. After that, you can do everything online.

As of Nov 2020, Simon Mall Gift cards will only work for $99/swipe for money services at Walmart and many grocery chains.

$1000 gift cards are available indefinitely.

Listen, folks, if you believe something like that is true, test it out first at your local mall doing what you plan on doing. That's a good rule for anything you read here. Don't spend thousands of dollars in your own area without testing what you plan to do first.

My mall codes as a gentlemen's club; at least, that's how I explain the strip club charges to my wife.

8-12 usually, split among 2 or 3 cards. Most I've bought is about 18 and I was planning on buying a lot before 12/31... glad I don't have to now. I'm anxious about getting too far out over my skis given the shaky MO situations.

The only real limit for most is liquidation velocity. At any moment the rules can change and you do not want to be left with CC balance you cannot clear before the due date
if that is not a concern Simon will sell you 25k per day

Liquidating isn't a huge concern for me, as I have a number of ways to liquidate the cards. My bigger concern is Chase shutting down my card. It has a $20k+ limit and I don't cycle, but still get nervous doing anything more than 3-4 cards in a trip and 6-8 total in a month.

in that case mix it up - Simon allow split payment, so keep buying what you do with the Chase card and use whatever other card you like for the balance. I routinely use 3-4 cards per transaction at Simon......spread the wealth

The 3-4 cards do they include multiple Chase cards or do you stick with just one Chase card?

The Simons I've been to check the physical card you use, but I would not try this. USBank is very sensitive to this and will shut your account down.
