Can we reload the temp card post online registration and pending receipt of permanent card?

Unfortunately, after granting me a reprieve and allowing me to sign up for a single BB card, Amex is not allowing anything else, BB or Serve :(

Since they have me on a short (very!) leash, my BB is going to be $20 deposit card with 1 or 2 swipes a week for minimal stuff for the foreseeable future. Hopefully thing will improve over time.

wow, they contacted u by email with those restrictions? beforehand, when was the serve acct opened, how much was loaded & liquidated?

fear of ban by Incomm/Amex, want to stay anonymous as possible. is it possible to load unactivated temp serve cards (straight off shelf, no $20 min deposit at register) at a dollar store w/ vanilla vgc/mcgc?

Unregistered card has little use. You can't really pay bills.

I don't think so. My understanding is that with a temp card, you can add funds up to $500 at purchase, but then you can't load anymore until you convert to a permanent card. But I've never tried it. I encourage you to give it a go, using a "real" bank-issued debit card. If it works with a real debit, try again the next day with a vgc. Good luck!

I tried loading at WM with a variable Meta VGC from the grocery store ($300). And after i entered the pin, the CSR said it didn't go through, and asked if I was using a credit card. Anyone else have this issue? Should I try again?

You shouldn't have any issue loading w meta VGC. If it "didn't go through" the printer usually spits out some sort of error message which gives you an idea of what went wrong.

Just wonder if anyone is able to load more than one $500 GC with the same Serve card at FD? I tried once and it did not go through. The manager had to refund it. The $ was tired for about a week.

So load serve at FD or DG is only one 500 per day??

Depends on the message. Some walmart machines got a POS update a few months back that can somehow distinguish between a Meta VGC and a "real" debit card. Unfortunately one of mine got hit, so my WM is no longer good for loading onto Serve with Meta VGC. Haven't tried BlueBird.

There's one FD I go to that I've been successful loading $498, $499 and $500 successively. I've done it with a cashier w/o SM intervention. Been doing it once a week at this FD.

the MC at a WMNM store I have frequented no longer works for loading (to Serve, BB, nor Gobank); getting "debit not approved' msg; luckily, regular cash registers still work for now, but 1 or 2 cashiers refused to help...as so, avoid those cashiers when seeing them; any rate, let's hope this store won't modify to all its registers
