Have not been able to get MB MCGCs to work at multiple WMs the last few days. Previously they were auto draining when using Serve or BB, but now they don't seem to process even with the change payment method. Cards worked fine at local grocery store though. Anyone else having issues?

The MCGC are known to have problems with Serve. But they are fine with BB. I'll stick with VGC for Serve.

Didn't work for BB either. Tried again today too with BB and Serve and struck out on both. All good. WM isn't the only game in town in my area.

Reloaded today (Sun, 4/18). No email.

Had what looked like a new cashier at DG run my Serve card yesterday, look at the screen and say she didn't know if we could continue with the load and called the manager over. The manager looked at the screen and said we only accept cash for serve now, can't do card to card transfer.

Did some loads to Green Serve at 2 DG and 1 FD yesterday, didn't have any issue except at one DG who said cash only

I am looking to create a serve account, but looking through the thread I see suggestions to open 5 serve accounts.
From what I understand this is for backup purposes, so does that mean I actively just use one and just keep the other 4 open.
What about the monthly fee on all the cards, wouldn't AMEX just close the other accounts if they have no activity and balance to pay monthly fee after a while.
Also is the Green Serve card what is mostly used? And is it the only card that is able to load at WM or are all the serve cards eligible? Thanks

Amex will not let your balance go negative. If your balance is $0, the monthly fee will be waived. If your balance is $0.50, you'll be charged $0.50 and the rest of the monthly fee will be waived.

Local WM MC, went to load Serve with VGC (Metabank). Had no problem last week. Today the card swiper kept saying "invalid card/tender".
I tried swiping a few times (in case I had the mag strip wrong). The MC lady asked if it was a gift card and saw the front of the card as I was swiping and stated that they just updated the system and it won't take those any longer. I'll have to try another one 20 miles away and see if it does the same thing (the card is fine as I can load $10 onto Amazon with it).

Neither, just boring ol' PIN. These were MB issued from GC.com.
