Was MSing using AMEX GCs for a few years until that died. Paid with MO. Then moved literally millions at Simon across my cards each month. That went on for 6+ months and stopped 3? months ago. Since then scaled down to about 500k a month total.

LOTS of CheckFree until mid-January. Since then I went back to mailing in MOs

1- Casinos ban people all the time, they dont need to prove the person was up to no good, appearnace alone will get you banned

2- Yes they pay the bloggers well, but Ive yet to see where any CC issuer stated its AOK to MS, true the bloggers push us to , but just cause a bunch of folks are telling me to run the red light doesnt mean its OK for me to do so

So just as with the casinos if it doesnt look kosher the banks will ban us as well, and I believe simply thinking you are up to no good (we call it MSing they may think its Money laundering and want to CTA).

If the Carrier thinks you are selling your miles, they simply shut the acct down and goodbye miles. Some who were able to show it was all legit got the acct reinstated but others where it wasnt 100% either way remained shutdown

Unless you can prove the bank shut you down due to your gender, religion, looks etc etc youre SOL

By any chance did you spend an extremely large amount when till now your monthly CC statements were but a small fraction before starting to MS?

When my local supermkt went all ca$h, I tried using a gas station and the CC blocked it.Now I had previously charged in the 1000s per purchase and no problems , yet $506.01 got blocked since the computer flagged it as a charge that is out of the ordinary for that type of vendor. After a brief chat they unblocked the card and I never tried that type of a transaction again, nor did I use it for that purchase. I have $30k as a CL on 1 card that I hardly ever use, Id be nuts to all of a sudden start charging 1000s or 10s of 1000s, Id slowly build it up

I think Craz was asking if your regular spend patterns were minor, until you ramped up the MS.

With that kind of volume, how many times a month were you cycling the CL?

Most of the cards were opened for the purpose of MSing so from the beginning large spend was virtually exclusive. At my height I cycled 10+ times a month. Lately 2-3 at most.

Did you cycle 2-3 times on one card for 6+ months or years?

Thanks for the data point. How did you pay it off during that many years? Mailing MO? or CFP?

So you were a AU on all those accounts, and you left a message with your attorney's Secratary?? I'm sure Cap 1 is shaking in thier boots.

How did they short you a lot of cashback? My experience with spark is that CapOne makes your points available as soon as charges post, so you should have been doing regular redemptions against statement credit.

Issues include but are not limited to:
1. Pending charges for which they denied credit
2. Annual fees for which they did not render services for
3. I was saving some venture miles for travel. They redeemed them at a rate 50% of what I was entitled to.

First off why are you using Cap one as your travel CC, there are other ways to travel then venture miles.

I think you need to read the fine print when it comes to how the CC company handles things.
