Why did you opt for amex gc when TCB offers ACH as an option - I always use ACH with TCB and it is reliable. Hope it clears for you.. s 5% ($100 payout = $105 Amex GC. or $500 = $525, more than enough to cover another $500 GC+MO and have a few $$$ left over) |

Sunday: After seeing the "bluebird cancelling VGC loading at WM" post, I went out to conduct some tests. I couldn't load my chime card at WM with the new non-embossed VGC from giftcards.com. Other loadable VISA and MC still worked normally, MO worked normally. It was an odd rejection with the Chime card too - said approved on my end and then the tiniest receipt came out. Said 'debit not approved - call authorizer'..someone mentioned this was a POS reject. One of the WM i went to had the old terminals and one had the new terminals. On the new terminals, the cashier couldn't even swipe Chime on her side, while on the old terminal they still could. Also, the cashier said WM had been rolling out lots of updates for the registers over last couple of days. Chime load was rejected at both locations. Monday: My wife still had a few of the embossed cards i had given her to load so I tried them. They loaded fine. Tuesday (today): I'm going to try some of the new non-embossed today to complete the 'test'. If they don't load, then something has changed. If they do, then chalk it up to a random outage on Sunday. will update later non-embossed worked fine....ffs |

2 weeks ago I bought a batch of giftcards for 3k and bought MOs at USPS.
I ordered another batch and now I can't seem to use it to buy MOs anymore, I tried to use at USPS, Western Union When called mgr told me that this transaction is prohibited and I had to cancel all of the cards :( |

After several questions about my purchases from GCM, TCB asked for my credit card statements and some purchase receipts. I sent them several copies. The next day, they sent an email releasing the two payments. So it appears that I'm good for now and can resume using them. I noticed when you cashout, they ask if you want to tip them. I thought that was quite odd. Perhaps next time I will wait till I have a few hundred and then tip $5. Keep them on my good side.
I have looked into some other portals. I placed 2 orders through Cashbackhouse about 10 days ago and they have not showed anything. |
What's the consensus on Yazing? From what they say on their site, and what some of the blogs say, they pay out pretty quickly and they appear to have a competitive cash back rate for VGCs with GC & GCM.

I tried purchases from GCM and ebay on Yazing and Giving Assistant. Both tracked them fine. Yazing just sends an email. No click history or dashboard. Hard to keep track of things. Giving Assistant has a click history and earning history. Neither seems to have a missing claim section. I don't know, does Giving Assistant expect me to donate some earnings to charity? I mean I'm a nice guy but I don't know if I want to donate like this. OK maybe I'm not a nice guy.
