Minor in the sense that I get 10 cards a day from them and need to manually input 16 digits each time, yeah.
Also, every single card from my last batch the app said a balance of $0.00, then it failed to activate, then I had to back out and re-enter it, and then it would show up as the amount with no indication that it was activated. Then I could change the PIN and just hoped it worked. Also 10 sealed envelopes inside a single rate envelope, with no tracking number. Ugh, support went downhill. My conclusions are: Even when It says unable to activate it is activated, as when I add to wallet after it shows a balance. I wanna double check tomorrow though. Confirmed that default pin is last 4.i activated a card today and did not change pin and used last 4 with success. Will try again tomorrow with a couple more. |

Yeah, I cleared all of them at WalMart last night, but its still one of those "did it just work that one time?"

How do you get 10 cards? Are you getting less than $500 each?
$6.95 per card plus $7.45 shipping = $2500, which is the max per order. I do that twice a day to hit the max per day. |
Has anyone received orders from July 12th? Looking at another stupid delay.
|
Still waiting on an order from 7/11. Things have gone downhill, fast.

I am currently on the phone with GC support.
The CSR said "sometimes USPS doesn't share with us the tracking number, for security purposes." Me: "I don't think you understand, the tracking number is so you have a reference of what is happening for a specific package, if it gets lost and you call USPS to investigate, what are you going to say? 'Hey you lost a specific package of mine, but I'm not sure what package it is?' Your system is just no longer sending out the emails. I need you to pass that up the chain so that I don't have to call in to get my tracking numbers for every order." Him: "Yeah that makes sense, I'm going to escalate this" Me: "Thanks" So he escalated it, and said they should be emailing me back with tracking numbers. So, we'll see what happens. |
@shitrus I had a similar conversation. I have a feeling they're going to do something about it, as more and more people call them and complain about this stupid change they made of not providing tracking numbers. Sounds like they're more concerned with security of providing tracking # in e-mail or under your account on the site than leaving packages full of gift cards on somebody's porch.

Sign up for email notifications at USPS.com. Even if GC.com don't give you tracking, you'll be notified when shipment is initiated to your address. My last tracked order came from Nevada. First tracking email for that shipment came a few days after GC.com's shipment email.
Btw, sucks can't pay Citi with these anymore... |

edit: $500 x4, one for $457.80 $6.95 per card plus $7.45 shipping = $2500, which is the max per order. I do that twice a day to hit the max per day. |

That's what I thought. but a PITA having to get an MO for a smaller random amount then, is it not?
I go to WM twice daily, once for 2x999.30 MO in the morning, and once in the evening after the shift change (it is on my to and from work). If I get to 4x of the smaller amounts, I will just have two smaller MOs for the day. So it really isn't that big of a deal. Just every now and then have a smaller MO. Plus it gives me that extra little bit of profit per day, which adds up since I do 10k every day. |
