General problem. You can check orders on the APP though. The order history part of the app works.

Yup. Could that mean it's going to only 1%?

freakflyer Jun 28, 2016 9:56 pm

Or gone altogether

Or gone altogether (ebates now doesn't honor any cashback for visa cards at giftcardmall).

Good while it lasted.

Yeah my guess is this thing is over.

Could just be contracts ending and new ones must be made with portals. Could be less % for a while and then a % promo comes along. GC.com will get very little business for these below 1.5% because it's just not worth it compared to buying in store depending on fees. 1.5 is the lowest I'm interested in and even at that its nothing exciting to me, but only moderately interesting.

I suspect most of their "flyertalk customers" are people like me who like the convenience of buying these cards on line (with our names on them, no less) at low prices. They're very marginal for MS, but great for meeting minimum spends. At 1.5% cashback, I order from them everytime I have to meet a minimum spend on a card without useful category bonuses. I wish the name wasn't "giftcards.com," but so far no problems.

Without a decent cashback, though, I'd probably just go to a supermarket and get the GCs I need (afterall, the mail order aspect of these cards is both a little inconvenient and a little risky). Of course, not everyone has merchants that will sell them GCs with a credit card.

Less than 1.5% and I'm out.

I'm still waiting on resolution from my 6 claims from earlier this month...

Not sure if you're in the same situation but they (TCB) responded to my payout requested but not paid claim saying its on hold and asking why I have so many transactions at giftscards.com

Yesterday I had a transaction flagged as fraud for a $300 giftcard I bought from giftcards.com a year ago. I was able to track it back to the exact transaction & information for this card. I've followed up with them, but haven't had any response.. Does anyone know if I have any recourse on this?

Your question is a bit confusing. Who flagged the transaction as fraud? (who is "them"). Did you buy the VGC a year ago? What exactly is the issue? I'm sure it's clear to you, as you know what's going on, but I'd be surprised if anyone know's what you're talking about with any degree of precision.

Nope... Like I said, I'm not holding my breath and I'm glad I stopped making purchases when it became obvious that I was going to get stonewalled on this.

Can you do both a cash back portal like iConsumer and G-money for an order?
