Since they switched to BHN. the visas do not need activation. I did 10K+last week without activating a single one. Pin is last 4 (as stated on the letter). Mastercards, however, do need to be activated and I have no idea what the pin is - I set it manually for the 4 i ordered.
Since then, visa is everywhere I want to be.

not that I don't trust you, I'm just a belt and suspenders guy. I have two orders coming in today, I'll check it out and report back.

My VGC from GC.com are arriving with a sticker that says they need to be activated. I didn't ever try to just go straight to set pin since it said they needed to be activated. I'll test next order I receive.

I received a batch of VGC from GC.com with the activation sticker. Attempted to use without activation did not work. I'll continue to activate on the website. The iPhone app doesn't seem to be working.

I made one successful order on giftcards.com in July of 2015 and then all subsequent orders were cancelled for no apparent reason. Apparently I was banned from the site as I got an email from them saying they would no longer do business with me. Tried again on Aug 6, 2016 and at first the order status said "order not processed." On the 7th the order processed and my credit card payment has now posted. The order was 2k plus card fees. I never got a confirmation email from them but according to their tracking the order shipped on the 8th and should arrive on the 15th. I'm going to wait for these to show up before ordering again but hopefully I'll be able to use this site for some volume without getting banned again. I wanted to add this data point to show that at least for now, in my case, its possible to become "unbanned" from this site. Maybe waiting for a little over a year was the answer. Hopefully they'll let me continue to order. We'll see what happens.

Looks like I opened my big mouth too soon. I tried my new batch if cards that I ordered last week and they didn't work. Had to activate them all right there in the po. The one piece of good news is that the pin is in fact the last 4 and does not need to be manually set.

I received a batch that I didn't activate because of the posts on here. It worked. A recent batch didn't work without activating. I probably won't risk it again and will just take the time to activate the cards.

Didn't work for me either. Good news was I went in with 4 activated, and 4 not activated, so I didn't hold up the line.

Anyone try activating using the app since the update on 8.10? Haven't had a chance yet.

I never stopped using the app you just have to type the numbers in now(first 8digits are usually the same). The app then gives an error and 0 balance but you just hit the back button on the top left and submit it again and it will show activated with correct balance. My last activation was a few hours ago.

iPhone App no longer gives an indication that the card has been. activated.

if i cant add to my wallet then i dont need the app. Wallet is nice as it allowed me to ensure all gc had zero balance before putting in storage. I found with the new cards i would get errors or time outs when tryign to add to wallet. Ill try tomorrow with some new cards i got today

Is it just me or did they remove the option to take a picture of the card? Also, my wallet still does ot load

All my GC.com purchases with order date in July became payable at TCB..
I think TCB makes CB payable in monthly batches..

I was a bit worried about a whole bunch of pending CB at TCB.. I had already started moving some of my purchases to yazing.com
