I got shut down by HR emerald prepaid after just open for 3 weeks. I online debit my Buxx card three times for $200 each. If HR don't like people to use online debit, why list online debit as an option? I haven't got my $600 back for three weeks.

My SO's emerald card is still open, I only online debited that card for twice, though.

From what I can tell, HRB doesn't seem to like you doing anything with the card at all. People have reported shutdowns for ACH, billpay, or even just loading minimal amounts. I'm wondering why they even offer the card at all.

My Emerald H&R block card got shut down. Only 2 loads and one charge at panera bread. This card is pathetic. Only need to float $400 which is no big deal so im not really sweating it. Just something I need to remind myself that I have money in there and track it eventually. Too busy to call and worry about it for now.

When I was shutdown by Emerald for online debit loads, they returned money to my PP account. Check your funding accounts for the money.

So I thought this was odd. Didnt receive a call from H&R block fraud dept like I knew they wouldnt. So I just logged in for fun to see if I could see anything and lo and behold I was able to see my transactions again. I called in to the automated line and it tells me my balance unlike before it would send me straight into customer service to speak with someone. Looks like I have been unbanned. Really weird.

My transactions:
200 load 1st day
spend 10.95 at panera bread 1st day
200 load 2nd day

So as far as I know, I am unbanned and free to use my card. It even says that I will get a cashback for $2.00 for spending at panera bread. haha. I wont load anymore on this card. Just let it sit with a balance for a little bit or drain it via bluebird later on this month.

Gobank has a published limit of $3K per 30 days. It will not stop you from doing more than that, but nonetheless you violated the terms of the card.

Chase closed all my CC yesterday without any notification. My bank accounts were closed last month. But got letter for it. Careful with Chase.

Do you know what triggered the closure of all your CC? What is your monthly MS volume?

There is a very detailed and lengthy thread in the Chase forum regarding similar shutdowns that provide more datapoints and in which any additional discussion should probably be moved:

[Consolidated]Chase closed my cr. card account(s)

Having had a checking or banking relationship with Chase is a very common trait among those that get cards shutdown.

Arrival - 10K a month for about 2 yrs via MS and AGC.

Any other possible cause? Barclays is very tolerant to MS since there is not much bonus category out there.
