Buxx cards can only be loaded with a Visa or MasterCard.

NW Buxx

•Initial purchase fee: $5 (waived with promo code: 02050053 - ( the promo code appears to be working consistently)
•$2 load fee
•Max load per rolling 7 days: $500
•Max load per rolling 30 days: $1,000
•Max ATM per week: ($200 - but only if specifically enabled online, including PIN setup). No fee for some Allpoint ATMs (no way to know in advance if the Allpoint ATM will ding you $1; check your account carefully and call if necessary to reverse the $1 charge…IME 2/3 Allpoint ATMs do charge the fee).
•Max spend per rolling 7 days: $800
•Max # of CC on file is 2.
•Max balance per card: $1000
•Max of 2 loads per CC per 7 day rolling period.

If you card fails to load, check to see if there are at least 7 calendar days between loads, make sure the load won't bring your card above the maximum balance, or try the other CC.

Funding with Citi cards codes as a purchase for NW Buxx.
TD Bank Go Buxx

•Can only be loaded with TD Bank credit cards, debit cards or direct deposit
•Initial purchase fee: $4.95 + $1 load fee
•Max load per day: $500
•Max load per 7 days: $2,000
•Max load per rolling 30 days: $3,000
•Max per ATM withdraw: $60/week. (No fee at TD Bank.)
•Max balance: $2,000
•Max transactions: no limit
•Max load per funding TD CC (across multiple teens): $6,000 per 30 days

Limits are per teen card, not per master account

TD Bank card loads are treated as purchases by TD Bank and earn points.

Cannot be used to pay CITI or Capital One cards by phone.

Not that it's a big deal to me, but received this email overnight.

I thought such closure is after "12 months of inactivity". Manually closed at their end doesn't change much since I have no use of TD card now these days and zero balance anyway.
It was great while it lasted.

Perhaps this is what caused it ???
I interpreted that to mean do not create 5 teens in one day haha. I created 2 teens 3 weeks ago and was trying to create the 3rd teen a couple days ago.

I didn't get shutdown, just got a "limit violation" error trying to create the 3rd teen. Nobody else has seen this before? I'm wondering if it's because I've been trying multiple credit cards to be my second loading card. Is there a limit to the number of times you can change one of the two CCs?

My other 2 teens are still auto-loading from my Citi Prestige and still works to unload to Redbird.

i used a citi exec card many times to load NW buxx and it always loaded as purchase, you always can set your cash advance with citi to 0 to elimnate a chance of CA.

You need to have cash advance available for chase cards. I know from experience.

Citi exec is MC, as answered above other banks require CA not citi, YMMV of course.

Deleted a Citi Exec card and replaced it with a Barclay Aviator card. I tried to load it and it wouldn't work. Exec was working. Any ideas? I have CA available on the Aviator.

I got the same email. I don't have a TD card, so I haven't used it since they banned other cards.

Just a reminder that TD does CA with their own cards. I forgot and will probably be hit with CA fee according to CSP. Paid off TD CC immediately to minimize interest payments.

Are you sure about that? I just loaded mine, the purchases cleared and I was only charged the load fee, no CA.

Does BoA Alaska Airlines signature card will have CA fees while loading Visa or NW Buxx cards? Do I need to reduce the CA limit to zero?

First mistake anyone does with any CC is lower your CA to zero. It is absolutely unnecessary and if you make a mistake where you want to get your CA back...good luck. There are too many examples out there where sometimes the transaction initially charges with CA but posts as a purchase. Worse case you pay a 1 time fee for CA fees...big freakin whoop.
