Weird how that happens especially on a batch of cards that were purchased together. I learned my lesson though, was used to buying giftcards and going straight to Kate to unload now I'll just buy the gift cards and wait till next day to unload. Just never really liked the idea of having the gift cards with me for more than a few hours.

Told to buy >$1000 VGC at Customer Service Desk
North Cincinnati datapoint. Was purchasing 4 variable VGC today. Cashier was going to process them as per normal procedure. A new Customer Service Manager came up and told her she was not allowed to sell over $1000 of them, that I would have to ring them up at the Customer Service desk. Cashier was not aware of this 'rule' and apologized to me. So she voided the transaction and I went to the service desk and rang up the 4 cards. I mentioned he must be pretty alert to notice this at a register ~5 lanes away (hoping to detect if they had noticed and tracked me from the gift card rack). He replied that he just happened to be making rounds and noticed it and that Krogers have had a lot of fraud recently. Completed the transaction without issue, but wanted to share the experience with others.

Just bought a USB MC from my local Ralphs. I inspected the package very closely and it looked fine. The expiration date on the outside packaging said 6/23. I bought the card and immediately opened it. The exp date on the card itself showed 7/23. I immediately called the phone number and the funds were there. I changed the PIN and immediately unloaded it to RB, which was successful. I don't know if that was simply a mistake the gift card company made, or if my card was tampered with, but thankfully everything worked out. Anybody ever noticed this difference in date before?

Looks like 4x FPs on GCs for the next 2 weeks.
Received an email this afternoon:
The DC expires 7/28, so I would assume there will be another "public" 4x the week after.

I haven't seen 4 x FP in my account either. Have been waiting for it for quite some time now.

I didn't see the 4x on my acct either but there were some good ones for ebay, nordstrom and sephora. I didn't read the t&c's but assume they are all $10 off 2 cards $25 or more. ^^

For some of us, with the best customer bonus offers, there has been a digital coupon available for July 22-28 that was available to load, making it three weeks of 4x on gift cards. Not sure what the threshold is, but I do most of my grocery shopping at Kroger, fill out 2-3 surveys per month, and have bought gas at $1 off per gallon, 35 gallons per fill up for the last 24 months.
Kroger also likes to send me $12 off $120 and $22 off $220 coupons, every other month, too. Figuring out how to load $220 of stuff onto one grocery cart in a cost effective manner was kind of a challenge.

I'm suspicious the recent digital coupon was at least partly regional.

Anyone having issues buying VGC in King Soopers? I have visited a cluster of stores that will only allow up to $2000 including fees to be purchased via a credit card or debit card and strongly enforce it..along with checking name on card used both pre swiping, and after swiping. They have a sheet of paper outlining enforcement rules. So 3x$500 is max,if loading $500s. This may be a regional policy in CO, south of Denver. I have visited a couple stores that don't seem to enforce this, but not yet sure if I just found cashiers that simply don't know to enforce the policy, or if they are outside the region where I've been limited.
