Who cares about the 1% cashback for Evolve. The fact is you already get 5% on PP MyCash loads so Evolve is a good way to drain the cards. Also by paying with your PP DC you can effectively pay your mortgage and other bills that exceed $500 since VGCs are limited to $500. But to answer your question...NO you don't earn 1% cashback with Evolve as confirmed from multiple blogs.

Where do you get PP MC RL that you can pay using a CC? My Walgreens and CVS both say cash only......

Using the 1% PP Biz Debit could be good for bills that are over $500 and I can't supplement payments with Amex Serve. With the 1 payment per acct on Evolve, this is getting harder and harder!

Just because they tell you cash only doesnt mean its cash only.

For those who are able to use PP Biz Debit, was ur card already added to ur account prior to a period of inactive month? So, people trying to link/add new PP Biz Debit is having issues? Would you mind sharing with me?

I meant "new" to EV account. Thank you.

I added my PPBD months ago and tested it once for a nominal amount and it went through. Then never used it again until now. I believe now folks are having problems just adding it to the list of cards on their account so Evolve must have a block on certain debit card numbers or the merchant.

For a period of time, evolve didn't allow PPBD as payment. It looks like that evolve allows it now if the card is already listed as one of debit cards, however, it still doesnt allow PPBD to be added. Unfortunately for me, I deleted my PPBD card after it was banned, so I could no longer use it.

Thank you all for the PPBD info above. That is a bummer that a user can't add PPBD at this time. It would have been a very nice place to use it.
Again, thank you.

FYI, by my rough calcs, these guys were over 1,000 payments per day over the summer before the last round of changes.

Since then they've been doing closer to 300 a day.

Evolve - the subject of the thread.

So last month, I tried to pay my electric bill on Evolve with a debit card (like I had previously) and the transaction did not go through. I called. They told me with a debit card that I had to put the payment day 2 days forward. I did, and it worked. But now I see in the wiki that I need to select a future payment date where it says I will be charged today.

When I go to do this, however, Evolve says a payment today (where I would be charged $1.50) will be charged today, a payment tomorrow will be charged tomorrow, a payment in 2 days will be charged in 2 days, etc. So what the heck will actually work, fee-free?

I did just select a payment day of 2 days in advance (which is a Saturday). Is this likely to work? BTW, seems like Evolve is becoming a PITA.

Its REALLY simple, just keep going until you find a day that charges today but posts in the future.... A hint is that posting on a weekend will typically not result in success. You have the right idea, just follow it through.

If even. This, and they haven't added the capabilities discussed early on. :td:
