That sucks. I remember you wrote about this a few days ago. I had a similar complaint. The payments that I made finally showed up to my account as of yesterday morning, Sep. 15. They were meant to be received on Aug 29.
What I did to.. inspire... a response was to file a complaint with the BBB. The parent company here is PreCash, Inc., and it's based out of Houston, TX. So you'd file with the Houston BBB. The process is quick and easy, imo, and I was eventually put in touch with someone who is empowered to provide information and resolve complaints. |

Thanks again for the BBB tip. One day after I filed the complaint, a supervisor called me and we were able to resolve the issue. Turns out the payment was received by the biller but it was manually applied to the wrong account. So the delay was due to biller error but how Evolve customer (no) service handled this issue was very disappointing.

I used to pay all the amount through Evolve and this is first time I paid using Evolve and BB, BB was delivered on time.
I have not dealt with partial payments from multiple sources before and is a mess for me. I hope it shows up Oct 1st week and I will pay remaining balance only :td: Is BBB complaint only way here? |

No update: My issue still unresolved: Payment was delivered on Sept 10 but doesn't show on mortgage company site. I scheduled a bill pay from my bank as I am not sure Evolve will be able to do anything in 2 days(Oct 1 is last day).

Yeah - BBB is a joke. I don't even take it as seriously as Yelp!
But your mortgage probably really won't be considered 'late' until another 10 days. Call your bank and ask for the last day that a payment comes in that's not considered to be late. |
This is getting OT, but I have to add that BBB has helped me twice in the past. It's true they do not have real authority, but in my experience a business that respects their BBB reputation will act to resolve complaints.

Had the biller charged you a late fee? If so, did they remove it once determining the error?
ETA: In regards to filing with BBB, for my case where the payment showed paid and delivered on Evolve but not the biller side, it helped by filing with BBB. My issue was resolved within one day of filing since the supervisor called me personally to work on this case, whereas I was getting no where just contacting Evolve customer service. But I do agree usually it's useless to file with BBB unless the company cares about its ratings. @concordian, is it possible your payment was applied to a different account due to biller's errors? This was what happened to my payment. I was told once the payment is received, it's manually applied by a human so the errors are possible. |

My bill isn't due until mid October so no late fee was ever assessed.

Sounds like a plan ;)

I thought the one per month limit is by calendar month, not a rolling 30(31?) day month. Am I the only one not to know this? I tried to make a payment to my electricity company today and it threw the one per month limit at me. I last paid them September 12th.

what a terrible bug. |
i feel like the same issue happened with people who tried to pay really early in the month last month too. Just wait a few days and try again.
