Your options are limited only by your imagination...

Yes there is a way. I'd just regular spend the OVs or pay via Evolve instead of your CCs unless you figure it out on your own. With just 5 posts, not a prayer anyone who knows is going to tell you. Spoonfeeding won't happen. If you need spoonfeeding and boxes&arrows, ask Daraius if he can help you... LOL. Just use your imagination like the picture of that cute kid, and you might figure it out or figure out something none of us know.

Just go to the MoneyGram and Western Union websites and do a search for the merchants that sell money orders in your zip code. You'll most likely be surprised at how many options you have. It may take a little longer, but as long as you take it slow and don't draw attention to yourself by attempting to buy ridiculous amounts, you'll be fine. Just pick three or four and keep your daily limit at 500 to 1K per merchant and you'll have no trouble hitting the minimum spend for your Exec card.

Good luck.

Thanks you were right. I was in Las Vegas last week and managed to find a locale where I could dump the remaining OVGC I had with WU MO. The lesson I've learned from the VR bubble bursting and now the OVGC is to not put all of your MS eggs in one basket. I've been reading up more on how to "diversify my bonds" so to speak.

U may be able to buy VR with OVs at CVS, cost u 1% but able to liquidate! (Not sure if cvs registers are hard coded for debit cards)

I doubt that would work. But you could try to buy moneypaks at rite aid with your VGCs and make their value be less the $4.95 MP fee. Now you just have to load the MPs to something. Be careful though... most prepaid cards that accept them are green dot which can be even worse than bancorp! Not all are--the amex prepaid would work if you have one, as should a couple others (I forget which).

As well, when buying MPs at RA, do try and follow the information found here:

http://mileageupdate.com/monkey-pak/

Not all stores will let you buy without having to see the card paying and an ID but that depends on your store/clerk.

I tried this this morning using VGC and OV and neither method worked for me to buy VR at CVS.

Bought 4 OVs yesterday and bought MOs with them at two different grocery stores. Might try that. Have to deposit the MOs to your bank account.

Much cheaper than buying other cards.

workaccounttoday Jun 26, 2014 8:25 am

sigh I'm jealous you all can get MOs with debit at stores other than WM.

Maybe there's a hidden store I've yet to find.

These were OVs. Can't be used at WM now.

There are several places (other than walmart) that will let you buy MO's, or BP with "debit"

There are also several "facilities" that handle checks for people who don't have bank accounts. Some of these places have BP.....and accept "debit"

FYI OV/VGC walmart is likely dead, but there are other ways to play the game
