Also, I wonder if "wal-mart registers" includes Kate. If not, getting to load 5k/month over 2 days instead of 5 is great.

Right. I meant if Kate is not a "wal-mart register" then it would be $2,500 and 2 days. If she is then its $1999.99 and 3 days. Still better than 5.

Now they just need to up the limit to 10k/month...

Are you all using Kates to load? Personally I feel I would piss off more than 1 person if I ask the cashier to load the same card 4x500...

Then don't. Ask them to load the same card 2x1000 (with a $500 split)

My wal-mart doesn't have the Kate :( I've been using the register's all this time. After reading about the Kate so much, can't imagine how easier it is! Need to find one (a working one ;) )so I can experience it!

After 4 x $200 reloads today, "my" Kate stuck on "Thank you for using..." screen :confused:

I wonder why they felt the need to limit it to $1999.99 instead of a round $2k. That's a great way to confuse cashiers, for sure. "I need to do 3 loads of $500, and one load of $499.99."

The other BB thread has reports of success (people doing 1k then returning later after seeing this and loading 999.99). No reports of trying straight 2k yet...or 2.5k through Kate (which I will try tonight if no one else has yet).

Had no issue using Kate and register for last $500 for total load of $2475. While this is a blessing for some, others will blow it for their store when they load $10K across 4 BB in two days...use some common sense people.
