The store manager gave me a $10 store gift card after carefully reading the information in the flyer.
Now I'm wondering if they are tracking the number of purchases via Club card. Can't test, no more cards available unless they restock.

Safeway in Northern Virginia by my house apparently is cash only. Tried a few different cashiers over a few different days.
Thankfully there are a lot of others nearby, so I may try those.

It's definitely YMMV. One store stated it was cash only. When I went to the customer service desk, the manager explained it was a new policy. BS

The penny is a placeholder in their system. Normally it would be offset and then a new $10 coupon activated at the end of the transaction, but these are broken somehow. I can attest that they did not work for a $25+ purchase either, still had to have manual intervention. I should note though, I have $400 worth of the 10 off 10, and none of the 10 off 25. That pretty much kills any chance of me buying more.

Yep $10 off $25 coupons are printing as of 6/21 1:00PM CST.
I used the coupon with $13.00 worth of grocery. The cashier thought it was the regular drill and just keyed in $10 coupon when it didn't scan. I didn't even notice it was a minimum $25 spending until I got home to read the forum.
Now I have 1 coupon left to use. Maybe on diapers or formula.
