Apparently the printers will only do so many coupons at once. MAX 5 coupons per transaction, but they can manually force the machine to print more...
I've been using these to get free lunch/dinner for the past two days, none have worked without manual intervention. When the cashier scans them it discounts $.01.

This coupon override is really keeping me from cleaning the $200 visa at my store.

They've done this same deal before so I don't understand why they can't make it work this time.

see that's why they are giving you the extra this time ... but seriously, it would be much easier if the coupon just worked. I was even told by one cashier that it's supposed to work only on grocery and nothing else..go figure

The override Is it the same problem at the cashier too ? If not, why not just burn through 10 coupons in one trip ? I took 6 cards yesterday at one cashier and told her to ring up only one at a time. She knew the logic and was happy to do it. There wasn't a line.
Someone else said buying lunch and dinner, that's brilliant.

Just go to the cashier who looks most likely to hold the override card (i.e. manager, assistant manager). Not terribly difficult to spot.
