But it isn't midnight Central Time yet. Don't know if that will make a difference.

Rumored by whom?

A higher-up at CVS corp. However, FWIU, he was not confirming there WILL be an update. Simply that if there were one, that's when it'd be.

Sorry for the confusion.

Just providing a data point. Will I be the last person in CST to ever buy a CVS bean???

I just got $1,500: one VGC, one OV, and one VR on the Main Line outside of Philly.

Preacher7 Mar 30, 2014 10:59 pm

That's great news! After midnight in Philly, and the game is still on...

BarryLincoln Mar 30, 2014 11:00 pm

Central time zone is now down...

Preacher7 Mar 30, 2014 11:00 pm

Ok, it's midnight CST. Anyone with a data point from the Midwest now?

Buhler, Buhler?

Preacher7 Mar 30, 2014 11:04 pm

And the Central Time Zone is waiting with baited breath (whatever that means...)!

I'm in bed for the night. Someone else go do it :P. I have to get up in 6 hours to work a 12 hour day. I will definitely stop on my way into the office regardless to try though.

Preacher7 Mar 30, 2014 11:09 pm

Ok. I'll put the popcorn away for the night too, then. It should be an interesting morning...

For what this is all worth...I am familiar with this concept. As a small time retail stock and option trader, this happens all the time in the trading world.

Nobody can predict the market with 100% certainty but you can find an "edge" that tilts things in your favor.

As my first trading mentor told me " the secret to keeping your edge.... is to keep your edge a secret.". Quite literally in trading circles the more people that know and use a specific strategy, the sooner it will cease to work. That's the definition of an edge. And once the edge no longer makes money consistently through trading.... The only way it makes anybody any money is by some guru selling it to the masses with all the past history showing how well it worked.

And that's where the real money can be.... Setting up on the opposite side of the trade. If you know a million ppl all saw the same thing and will attempt the same move it is ridiculously easy to make money off that.

There's a fine line between building a helping community and guiding a herd that will trample anything in its path. This is very much the same with MS.

Nice to have local data. I was at one of my go to CVSs on City Line Ave at around 6PM, and the clerk had no clue anything was going on. He was confused why some of the regulars were coming in and buying larger than normal amounts.
